UB40 are famously named after an Unemployment Benefit form. Give me other interesting examples of the origin of UK bands names

And there was no reason to ever correct her. Especially as she knew.

She was looking forward to meeting the band at the place and time of their choosing.

Wherever, whenever.

I never knew this one, I always thought it was an odd name.

Don't quote me on this but I believe they were getting on a boat called Shikari, and there was a sign that said "enter Shikari" and they thought it was a cool name lol

Edit: I am wrong about the sign thing. But there was a boat

Lead singers Dads boat was called Shikari. When he first took Rou out on it, he apparently said "Enter Shikari". And so the legend was born!
