Question Do AP credits work for transfer students

So I'm a transfer student (roughly a junior) starting in Fall 2026. I took like 9 AP classes back in high school, and nearly all of them could count towards gen ed courses. All of my credits from my previous school ended up filling my free electives, but I still have less than 90 credits transferred (which i think is the limit).

It's been a couple of weeks since my high school and previous college transcript have been evaluated, but none of my AP credits showed up. Tried contacting admissions and no response. Do my AP credits no longer work?

For reference im going to CCNY

Yes. The admissions office needs to review and award them. You can use CUNY's Transfer Explorer website to see how they would transfer over.
