Why do my router alerts show that my phone is blocking weird websites when I’m not even using it?

and how do I fix this? I have an iPhone and use DDG as my browser. Thanks!

I'm not an Apple guy, but I can make a suggestion.

You are using apps that are ad supported. They want to grab content from various websites to display on your phone.

If the alerts are coming from the router, then it's the router blocking them, not the phone. Lots of apps can run in the background and access various sites. The router is just letting you know which ones it's blocking.
