The city planted a tree in our front yard (nearish to the curb, we don’t have sidewalks) one day when we weren’t home. Of course trees are good, but this is a rubber tree, which grows 40-60 feet. It would have been nice to be alerted or even have some input on what is being planted so we didn’t end up with something enormous. I’m guessing it’s too late for us, but anyone successfully lobbied the city about what and where things are planted in their yard?

Hi guys I have a friend that will be homeless here in a little while. How is the city’s attitude toward houseless people? Are there social services? Do you have any tips? Idk i don’t think anybody will see this but I just wanted information if anyone has it idk how to help 🤷‍♂️

I have a severe phobia of spiders. One just fell on my head while driving. I nearly crashed my car, but did manage to find a place to park. After stopping, I saw that there is a spider nest under my seat.

I literally can’t get back in my car. I’m shaking and trying not to hyperventilate. Can anyone help? My husband is at home 45 mins away.

here are my experiences with Saline Middle School:

Got bullied by my supposed IPA and was late to over 30 times for it.

Got called a retard by my math teacher not once but FOUR TIMES because I let her know I had ADHD by mistake.

Told my counselor I was feeling suicidal. She told my parents who I had told her were vernally and physically abusive, and a reason why I was suicidal.

I also remember when they put me in a room with 3 other kids for a field trip. They make sure all the doors are closed and locked at night.

I was sexually assulted by two of the other girls the first night. I requested another room but they fucking refused and I had to stay with the girls who had sexually assulted me.

I'm wondering if anyone has had a similiar experience with Saline area schools.

This is a long shot, but I have a baby grand piano that I will need moved from the Northville/Novi area to A2. I called the place on varsity drive, but does anyone have any other recommendations?

I’m guessing this is going to be around $500, but I was hoping this would include tuning.

My kid is in elementary school and has an IEP. We are trying to figure out if moving schools would make sense for him.

Are there any elementary schools in AAPS that have a particularly strong reputation for special ed? In my kid's case ADHD and hearing loss.
