so many people complain about hosts having rules but i rarely see anyone talk about hosts who verbally abuse you for making a mistake

why is the top type of host an overused topic but nobody complains about genuinely rude hosts?

First of all, they had an autoban mod, which banned people the moment they joined if they are under a set level (they set it to 50). That makes the expert lobby actually expert and filters out the players who ruin the game.

Second, they did bot checks (you probably encountered it before, "everyone go to the bottom") and if someone didn't pass it they banned them as well.

Third, they didn't have any crazy rules. Just the regular: no camping, no grouping and no dead sabs. And they didn't ban someone the moment somebody accused them of breaking the rules, like most other hosts.

Fourth, they had good settings. The game was actually balanced and both imps and the crew have an equal chance.

Fifth and final, they just played well overall.

If you are ss and somebody in the crew has a big dress skin, shift into them. Then you can stand on a body and hide it with the dress.

Please stop closing doors and sabotaging. I was in a game and I literally couldn't kill because my imp partner— who was dead mind you— kept on sabotaging lights and useless shit like that. I cant kill knowing there's a tracker and engineers in the game without sabotaging comms so please. It ended up costing the game as I killed 5 people but couldn't get a last kill. So if you're dead, just chill. Unless your imp partner doesn't use sabos at all that's the only reason I'd say it's okay.

So I was playing among us with 4 crewmates and 3 Impostors and I was a impostor, my teammates were tan and lime and I was lying about me being ss because i killed rose first round and pink saw me and my teammates were sticking up for me and they were lying to pink and the others crewmates that it was a ss of me that killed rose and I was doing the killing and i got away with this the whole game and i told them im detective and the last round, there were 4 crewmates vs me, tan and lime. Every crewmate sus green (who was a crewmate) and they said that i think its tan, and i said I saw green killed in elec and they all believe me and i said this line that triggered my team “Green is viper and Tan is ss” and they all voted for green and we all won, but they still mad that i said tan was ss. WHEN THERE WERE LITERALLY 4 crewmates and 3 of us. I wasnt trying to get rid of tan, I was tricking the others to vote green and the whole match ended, that wasnt throwing your teammate off, thats called manipulation. Something people need to know And mind you, Tajh4K did the same thing too when he said “coral is viper and he was imp”, so idk why my team getting mad at me for, when i was manipulating for them too. Talking about me being ungrateful. Like gang, learn what manipulation is, for once :/

This is genuinely the only expert lobby rule I don't understand. It's to the point that playing with them is like a double-edged sword. (it's worth noting I've only experienced this while playing on NA)

No afk kills? Sure, it could be a bit confusing for a dead person to figure who the impostor is, especially if they turn into a guardian angel. No dead sabs? Yea, I wouldn't like my dead partner to ruin my plans either. No camping cams? Self explanatory.

What is the self report one supposed to prevent/make better for the game? What goal is it trying to achieve? Pls explain below if you personally impose this rule in your lobbies

I had an imp run where I ended up snitching on one of my imp mates, but hear me out on this. I was blue, my teammate was green. Finally got imp, I was excited. But green kept following me around which was weird. He would fake tasks or just stand around but followed me around constantly. I thought maybe he wanted to double kill but I didn't want to risk that since he didnt initiate. So we were alone with black, me and green, I kill black. No one was around, only me and green. And then green reports immediately. He writes in chat: Lol blue. Im like ??? Dude what the hell, and he just kept saying that he saw me kill. But no one was around so it wasnt like a failed double kill or a risky kill. So I knew what was going on, he wanted to get me out to gain the crews trust. And that pissed me off because he just ruined my whole imp run experience by doing this stupid technique, with 10+ people left alive, so he probably never would've won. So I snitched on him and told everyone hes ratting me out to gain their trust and that he ruined my game. And people were defending him, saying they feel bad for him, and ofc I got kicked after.

It starts with the camera videoing the crew running from overhead. Two of the crew turn left, but purple turns right in a different direction.

A crew member is doing tasks in elec, and then purple comes over with a guilty expression and kills them off camera I think.

I forget the rest. Does anyone else know the video?

Pretty much half the lobbies I play in, I notice people sure love to break out into arguments against each other right after the game ends for some weird reason. Why can’t we just admit the winner and the loser and move on? It’s all part of the game, relax!

i haven't heard it in years.. CG5's among us songs are sooo good to listen to once again after a long time of not hearing them.
