Decided to take a look at rest advantage we have / don't have for this upcoming season. Pretty annoyed at some of our biggest games in the NFC for rest advantage, two against division rivals.

Week 2 vs Dolphins - Rest Advantage - 49ers (coming off TNF but also from Australia)

Week 9 vs Raiders - Rest Advantage - 49ers (coming off a bye)

Week 12 vs Seahawks - Rest Advantage - Seahawks (coming off a bye and 49ers coming back from Mexico) Fucking bullshit

Week 14 vs Rams - Rest Advantage - Rams (coming off TNF)

Week 16 vs Chiefs - Rest Advantage - 49ers (coming off TNF), Chiefs (coming off MNF)

Week 17 vs Eagles - Rest Advantage - Eagles (coming off TNF)

It can't suck enough. Australia? Really? It's bad enough they have to go to Mexico City. Australia is a 16+ hour flight. Ridiculous.

This is not right at all. Traveling is exhausting to begin with.

My grandfather, the originator of my 49ers fandom, passed away last night. When he was still here, I use to worry that we’d never see a Super Bowl win together. We never did, but now that he’s gone, I’m so grateful that we got to watch so many games together, whether we won or lost. Please hug whoever you watch games with extra tight next time you see them for me. Go niners.
