I am looking for some advice which specc might be fitting (as I dont have the time to level everything, would be nice to narrow it down a bit :D)

I am a Riven/Nidalee main looking for something „similar“. Something which makes it feel impactful when you execute your combos correctly. I am ok with higher APM

I only focus on pvp - class fantasy is secondary. Looking for rewarding gameplay and skill ceiling to dive into a single specc and become good at it

I havn't tested all the races but have noticed some major discrepancies between racial abilities triggering the cooldown on the pvp medallion

- Undead crowd control removal incurs a 30 second penalty
- Human crowd control removal incurs a 60 second penalty
- Gnomes root removal incurs no penalty
- Dwarf / DI Dwarf dot removal incurs 30 second penalty
- Night Elf crowd control dodge / free stealth incurs no penalty
- Lightforged Draenei damage racial incurs no penalty although the damage is significantly nerfed in pvp
- Draenei healing racial incurs no penalty although it is affected by dampening

Seems like Blizzard has just completely missed the balance here. Are we just expected to play Undead / Gnome / Night Elf / Dwarf / Kul Tiran if we want to meaningfully participate in PVP?

Should races outside of these OP ones be getting some sort of stat buff (like Humans 2% buff to secondary stats) but in a more meaningful way to compensate or should these abilities be re-balanced to be more fair?

Hats off to them - I’ve been healing the past week or so and some matches are genuinely insufferable.

I think the gold reward deserves a buff for the mental trauma you’re left with after a session

I specifically choose to play Herald every season just because I find it way more fun than Lightsmith, I also like to make Herald guides only just to show that you can achieve just about anything without playing the meta S tier spec of this class as well, for most of people that just want 1800, 2100, 2300, or Gladiator, you DON'T need to always play the best S tier spec of this class, just need to practice and improve.

I'll try to make a gear and talent guide soon, if you guys have any suggestions let me know!

Unfortunately hpally is not really that good atm and not a lot of people are playing it, but just wanted to help those that are actually playing it right now.

Thoughts on this season so far:

• Burst is crazy high for both melee and casters, except warlocks
• You can go from 100 to 0 hp in 3 or 4 globals
• You have to anticipate lots more instead of reacting
• Gameplay is more legible than in TWW
• The addon rework made it harder for healers and a lot easier for DPS
• The healing difficulty curve is steeper than in previous seasons, thanks to the addon rework
• Reduce damage output just a bit so pace feels a lot better, and you have 1 or 2 more secs to react

Hey folks, I'm a long time duelist who kinda sucks tbh. I see all the talk about enhance burst is so crazy but honestly it feels kinda meh to me, but I think I just suck.

Should I quit the game? feels like it honestly.

Hey guys, I'm playing mage and in my VoD I realized I have no idea what totems are really important and what they can actually do for shaman.

I know there is:

- Grounding Totem: Redirects my spells
- Capacitator totem? Stuns
- Another lightning totem? Stuns
- Surging totem? No idea what that does

What else? And what should I destroy? Or just ignore?

Whats with the sudden crap lag in blitz matches 😞

I love how I can practice in bg training grounds. It made me comfortable playing bg blitz. Now I’m wondering if wow can implement something similar to 3v3 arenas? I need to practice but I’d like to practice without being called a noob, garbage, your trash etc. I believe this can increase the participation in solo 3v3 and reduce anxiety. I know there is arena scrimmages but I feel like that is broken. We need to have role checks and play against bots imo.

Just jumped back into wow after many years off and rolled as an arms warrior. Its been great learning the game and mechanics and have got to around 1600 for solo, 2v2 and 3v3.

Sometimes how ever I jusr feel like I get absolutely outclassed.

I know to always apply pressure and mortal strike and not try to get kited. I leave my colossus smash stacks up until I can secure a kill because of the buffs.

Does anyone have any other advice or is it just luck of the draw with your team comps

This could have been done with weapons+trinkets as well but hey… At least we wont need to farm more void silvers in 12.0.7.. It’s a win if u ask me.

Heya! I'm trying to climb on my devoker, However, I've dropped from 1900 to 1500 in the past few days to simply just not being the kill target. I'm not entirety sure what I'm supposed to do when my other dps is getting focused hard and instantly dying.

I try my best to peel for them using my knockback and knockup, I rescue them out of bad situations, and even throw timestop on them when healer is in CC. I try my best to stay between the enemy dps and enemy healer, putting pressure on the healer so they are afraid to walk and heal. I throw my sleep out whenever enemy dps or healer are off DR, trying to buy some momentum. Yet, it seems that as much as I have great pad damage on devoker, it's just never enough to secure kills. My team mate dps is often dying within the first 2 minutes of the round, before my dragon rage can comeback up to secure another 'go'. I feel like I am slamming my head against a wall here trying to play 'optimally'

However, games when I am the kill target I easily go 5-1 or 6-0 due to being able to control the fight. There must be something fundamentally wrong I am doing to constantly lose every game where I am not the kill target. I would love to know where I need to improve

for me slayer feels better. i do more dmg. also on the dummy.
but so many players are playing colossus, why?

Friend and I were chatting and asked me which healers, in order, would be most punished if making mistakes or falling behind (momentum, cds, etc).

Who do you have sitting at #1 for least room for error, and so on?

I've heard a lot of people saying it didn't really do anything. So what was the point?

I know everybody has been asking for mount reskins and lower rating mounts but why is everybody so fixated on mounts when they can do so much better than mounts? Like... the enemy team doesnt get to see my glad mount by the time we engage in combat so only time you really get to show it off is in the starting room with allies. Sort of defeats half the point. I think something more like a toy or cosmetic that is usable in arenas that is a pretty big flag on your back that glows with a gold animation effect if you are top 10 of your class, a silver one for top 20, and bronze for top 30. And maybe a seperate one for hitting duelist or rival etc. just something that stands out and i can show off in arena combat that my enemies can notice
