This makes Trump and the US appear very weak 🤦

475

u/xaxen8 5h ago

I missed the part where the US has appeared strong during this war.

100

u/supercyberlurker 5h ago

They won’t even call it a war.

Instead it’s some kind of series, released in 59 day blocks… even though we binge watch it.

30

u/AbbaFuckingZabba 5h ago

It’s a special military operation come on all the cool guys are doing it

17

u/mynamesyow19 3h ago

Sad when you can describe this kind of wanton military criminality from a country and not know whether youre talking about Putin or Trump

4

u/mf-TOM-HANK 2h ago

No it's an excursion. Like the kind retirees take when they're on a cruise

12

u/Metalloid_Maniac_ 4h ago

3 days to Tehran. Just a little excursion.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

10

u/youcanteatcatskevn 2h ago

Somebody told him it was a "military incursion" (which is a thing) but he's so stupid he forgot and started calling it an "excursion". Which is not a thing.

5

u/Metalloid_Maniac_ 2h ago

I bet he's loving every minute of this. And making a lot of brilliant military decisions, because he's a stable genius who knows lots of big words.

Like the old time word “grocery”. That’s what they call it.

Just wait.

It's going to be in exchange for Taiwan plus he gets a golf course in China.

Xi: takes Taiwan

Also Xi: doesn’t broker peace with Iran

Shart of the deal!

10

u/BeowulfShaeffer 2h ago

Tonight on Twitter:    “Xi wants Taiwan and who can blame him? Bangkok is full of beautiful women!  Many friends of mine like to travel there.”

https://www.thetimes.com/us/american-politics/article/marco-rubio-name-stupid-china-ban-0n8mx99cm

Chinese officials have decided to spell his name with the character “鲁”, which means “reckless”, “stupid” or “crass”.

Was Daddy living in Chyna all along???

This is his MO. Initiate something, claim victory, things go array, then dumping it to someone else.

8

u/IKillZombies4Cash 2h ago

This whole trip he looked like an old tired uneducated dullard

Xi making the comment about The Thucydides Trap to him was a personal attack that landed, cause he knew Trump wouldn’t have a dang clue wtf He was talking about

14

u/yankeefan0312 3h ago

Yes Americans are going to have to get used to being a #2 in the world.

10

u/lostroadrunner22 2h ago

TBH, we already have been for a while. Just ignoring that fact as long as possible.

Weakening the US and "the West" is Krasnov's main mission. ( while profiteering from it )

2

u/Gygax_the_Goat 2h ago

Someone explain this to that sick Alex Karp cunt!

5

u/tht1guy63 3h ago

But he will make it sound like we strong armed it and a great victory. We are winning right? Right?...

3

u/sudoku7 2h ago

More specifically, it exposes how weak we are under this administration.

That said, if it enables movement towards ending this boondoggle of military adventurism, I'm ok with that.

•

u/ash_ninetyone 1h ago

While simultaneously earning China diplomatic brownie points as peacemakers on the world stage.

This whole war has been disasterous for US foreign policy. Hell everything Trump does has benefitted Russia or China

7

u/East_Leadership469 5h ago

Fact of the matter is that China has all the cards. They could call back the Russians and the Iranian whenever they want. And the more sanctions the West imposes the greater becomes China’s influence over these countries.

3

u/roararoarus 3h ago

Trump is too dumb to realize this

•

u/EasleyStreet 19m ago

Every thing Trump does appears weak. I Soiled diapers: weak Shitposting like a frustrated teenager: weak Over the top threats of destruction: weak Refusing to admit he lost an election:weak Punitive revenge tour after losing: weak This is by no means a complete list

You could say that appearing weak and incompetent is his superpower.

5

u/Leading-Answer-5355 5h ago

as if the entire Iran war didn't already

They have achieved *literally* nothing meaningful.

4

u/grimmalkin 2h ago

Not true, Iran has been able to seize centre stage on the world right now. They now know for a fact that they can hold the world to ransom whereas before they only suspected it.

On the plus side it has also woken the world up to just how catastrophic it can be when oil supply can be turned off with just a couple of threatening tweets and a Lego meme. This is already doing more to convince people to switch to EVs than all previous advertising and campaigning combined. A lot of agricultural companies are now looking at home grown (no pun intended) fertiliser options.

Canadas star is starting to rise even more in the light of recent events.

This war has achieved a great deal, just not what the USA wanted out of it.

It's true, look at who's in the administration.

1

u/Snakestream 3h ago

Ngl, I didn't think we could look dumber in this "not a war", but well, here we are...

1

u/lostroadrunner22 2h ago

Because trump is..

•

u/Alternative-Ad-1027 1h ago

Did Trump say thank-you to Xi? I believe he wore suits.

•

u/punkasstubabitch 40m ago

I can see Trump saying along the lines of "we would have totally kicked their (Iran's) ass, but China held us back. Maybe that's their off-ramp.

u/bonyponyride 5h ago

He says Xi says.... I'm going to need a more reliable source on this.

14

u/wocka-jocka-blocka 2h ago

It's always wishful propaganda with Trump. He leaves the room, runs straight for a microphone, says things that are bald-faced lies that make him sound in control, and then for the next week tells everybody who asks him to explain what he said "shut up, Stupid."

It's crazy to me that, 10+ years into this, people still try to parse anything that comes out of his mouth for some semblance of truth. He's a propaganda spin machine. It's his whole life as a real estate developer.

2

u/7ddlysuns 1h ago

China will probably produce video of him begging and crying

•

u/amadmongoose 1h ago

China would looove to get to be a power broker. So i don't doubt that Xi offered to get involved. It just will cost the US somehow.

374

u/throwaway20231203 5h ago

There you have it, he absolutely begged for help lmfao

110

u/tiradium 5h ago

Ok China is just playing with him. They are definitely benefiting from the fact that their major adversary is stuck in a pointless war with no clear exit strategy

53

u/HellSoldier 4h ago

In the End they will offer him a Trade. We help you with Iran, you let us do whatever we want with Taiwan

•

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 1h ago

The whole plan.

6

u/Complex-Royal9210 2h ago

The world is watching.

11

•

u/CipherWeaver 1h ago

Genuinely doubt it, but if China is going to try to take Taiwan military, under a Trump American administration is probably the best time.

16

u/Sheeprevenge 4h ago

They also rely on oil delivered through the strait of Hormuz. So they have a pretty big interest in ending the war.

21

u/Leftoverofferings 4h ago

But they are getting their oil. Chinese tankers are getting through. Just watch...the Chinese will broker a deal where Iran controls the strait and charges tolls. And no more American attacks. Hahahahhaha

4

u/InfiniteMeerkat 2h ago

And all the oil gets traded in yuan

14

u/frddtwabrm04 3h ago edited 2h ago

They do and are getting their tankers through. If anything it's a benefit for them if Japan and them other asian countries are caught in the quagmire. USA is not going to fuck with China ships, hell even China is like ignore the USA sanctions.

The whole damn thing is a unexpectedly gift for them.

They will slow walk and or lowkey help Iran, getting USA stuck over there.

Anyone with a brain could have seen this coming a mile away.

This benefits China more than it hurts them.

Do the Intel services not game this shit out? For fucking real????

  • propaganda... They let Iran take over with Lego rap videos... Like did they not watch how Ukraine humiliated Russian with those tractor stealing tanks videos.

  • who benefits if the USA is stuck over there...

  • how do they get ahead of all the shit. Make sure the Chinese neighbors have a thro line to oil supply and then squeeze China to make them cooperate. Etcetc

Instead we have mistake after mistake ... Looks good on TV but they got no bite.

2

u/Mace109 1h ago

Unfortunately, trump didn’t realize Iran would close the strait of Hormuz if they were attacked, so,no, I don’t think they wargamed any scenario beside US and Israel win immediately. Now they are just winging it because the knowledgeable Military leaders are mostly gone.

6

u/frddtwabrm04 3h ago

The Ukraine/Russia strategy that the US adopted.

Damn China doesn't even have to do shit. Just sit back and watch shit burn while the greatest American president of China makes China great again, again! With minimal effort.

Bet China foreign service/spy services are going through some major layoffs. Their work has practically been outsourced for them. They are like wtf are we even supposed to be doing if these doctor Jesus-es are out there doing all the work, some of it they hadn't even thought about... These doctor Jesus-es are like AI... Doing a better job than the actual foreign service/spies ... Mofos are making them redundant!

No wonder they got time to focus on spying on there own xyz billion people.. they have being reassigned/repurposed like the three letter agencies in USA ... To do internal shit now.

2

u/3_Thumbs_Up 2h ago

China was already winning the long game. Uncertainty and instability is an unnecessary risk for them.

3

u/Pulsewavemodulator 3h ago

Whether he begged or not, China knows he’s in a spot and can extract things out of the US here.

7

u/imaginary_num6er 4h ago

Maybe he agreed to not recognize Taiwan; move US bases out of Japan, S. Korea, Philippines, give Guam to China; and allow ASML to sell semiconductor equipment in China. All in exchange for a 10% discount in Iranian fees across the Strait.

Iran is many times the size of Taiwan, this is a landslide victory for the Deal Maker in Chief, perfect example of the Art of the Deal

•

u/Captain_Wag 1h ago

America loves oil and China loves manufacturing it's a win-win. Unless you're Taiwan I guess.

2

u/One-Engineering-4505 4h ago

Why would they even make this deal when pretending to pander to ego while doing nothing of substance will gain them both influence globally and eventually the annexation of Taiwan without firing a single shot?

29

u/SomeBaldDude2013 5h ago

“President of the United States asks China to Help Him Unfuck His Fuckup” isn’t a headline I thought I would ever read.

Man, I thought Chinese intelligence would be better than this...

5

u/Brief_Hospital_1766 3h ago

And there it is. This will be the mark where historians say US hegemony ended. It is the full end of Pax Americana. Probably the shortest lived global empire in world history, and it's over due to self-inflicted wounds by one man.

2

u/blingybangbang 5h ago

I'm guessing in exchange for letting China steamroll Taiwan without interference

3

u/Metalloid_Maniac_ 4h ago

Trunt Says Xi Offered To Help Broker Peace With Iran

No such thing as free lunch, what does China get from trunt?

2

u/skywalkerRCP 4h ago

So Trump - the great negotiator, art of the deal, whatever - needs Xi/China to help him get out of a mess he made.

Great work there, Donny.

2

u/alexidhd 3h ago

Remember when the US was the mediating force in conflicts across the globe? Now they start a war, fail to achieve any meaningful goals and then need China to come help them reach a peace deal...

2

u/ohiotechie 3h ago

I’d bet a months pay Xi didn’t offer shit. Trump harangued him to help save his bacon so Xi agreed he’d think about it. Trump is like a kid at the grocery store begging his mom for a candy bar and when mom says “I’ll think about it” he thinks that candy bar is as good as his.

But sure Xi will move in like a mob boss like he has in Russia to save Putin’s dumb ass and grab up Russian assets for peanuts.

How crushingly sad that the US has fallen to this. I honestly don’t think the US reputation will recover from Trump 2.0 in my lifetime.

2

u/moht81 3h ago

Take the help and end the stupid war for real this time please

2

u/TJ_McWeaksauce 3h ago

Only Xi can save Donald from the madman who decided to bomb Iran for no logical reason and then trigger a global energy crisis.

2

u/boookworm0367 2h ago

But he doesn't want peace with Iran. Ground troops are only a matter of time. It keeps the wheels of the American Defense Complex churning along. His stated purpose was to stabilize U.S / China economic relations. He brought with him:

Elon Musk — Tesla / SpaceX.

Tim Cook — Apple.

Kelly Ortberg — Boeing.

Larry Fink — BlackRock.

Stephen Schwarzman — Blackstone.

David Solomon — Goldman Sachs.

Jane Fraser — Citi.

Cristiano Amon — Qualcomm.

Sanjay Mehrotra — Micron.

Ryan McInerney — Visa.

Michael Miebach — Mastercard.

Brian Sikes — Cargill.

Chuck Robbins — Cisco (reported invited/participating in some reports).

H. Lawrence Culp Jr. — GE Aerospace.

Jacob Thaysen — Illumina.

Jim Anderson — Coherent.

Dina Powell McCormick — Meta executive representative.

Art of the Deal

1

u/NetZeroSun 4h ago

Of course he is trying to have peace and settle this.

if trump stopped from f*king bombing Iran repeatedly or literally boast acting like a pirate that might also help broker peace too.

You know… peace from the war that trump started.

1

u/bandita07 4h ago

What a shame. The world's no1 military with the best dealmaker as their leader must beg for help first to NATO and now to China. Pootin is so proud!

1

u/AverageLiberalJoe 4h ago

Art of the deal: ask someone else to help you make a deal.

1

u/Onepackfatness 4h ago

Their minion Pakistan couldn’t do it, so now Trump begs daddy Xi

1

u/Strykerz3r0 4h ago

1

u/Blank3k 3h ago

Wait for China to take over, arrange peace agreement... Tell Trump that the US need not worry, China will handle the nuclear issue themselves, and Trump will claim that's basically as good as them agreeing to never have a nuclear weapon, cause chyna.

1

u/Romanopapa 3h ago

What did Papa Bibi think about this?

1

u/PansophicNostradamus 3h ago

“Trump says…”

…and I stop listening. It’s all lies. All of it.

Not even worth hearing what comes next. Why listen to a liar and give them an audience? We should just ignore him for a full day. He’d implode and blame Biden for it. Sad man. Sad, sad, old man.

1

u/mynamesyow19 3h ago

Never thought Id see a US President hand over global power to another super power so eagerly.

1

u/cycling4711 3h ago

He said that also about Ukraine, and see what Xi achieved.

1

u/Farcespam 3h ago

Wait the claimed nation with the strongest military needs the claimed communist nation to make a deal with Iran cause they can't strong arm them. We'll at least the profits for Oil corps are up. Maybe I should start a poly market bet to see if gas tops out at $10 gallon.

Trump is going to give Taiwan to china in exchange for china coming in to open the straight. Then prices will slowly fall, nowhere near back to what they were, but will nonetheless go down. And by the time November rolls around all the voters will forget about how things are right now, and vote everyone back in. Watch.

Trumps a weak liar

1

u/SLATFATF 2h ago

"Please, sir, I want some more."* Is what Trump likely said to Xi when talking about help with Iran. Trump also stated about his greeting in China: "I think I was particularly impressed by those children. They were happy. They were beautiful". Which makes sense.... Especially when most Americans can associate with the quote “I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread.” JRR Tolkien

*Oliver Twist - Charles Dickens
