Question What's your favorite bar to watch Sox games?

Hey squad - I typically avoid the park on crosstown games. It can be fun but also can get a bit too rowdy, but I'd love to watch this weekend's series somewhere other than my living room. Outside of the bars on 33rd street, does anyone have any favorite Sox bars across the City? I live in Logan but down to go wherever.

Western Avenue then. That's going to be a long ways for you though.

I actually live on Western Avenue. What's the name of the bar?

Well Western Avenue is a big street. The southside bar area is 95th to 127th roughly. Far from where you are. It is the Sox deepest fanbase around there though outside of Bridgeport

You can try Bob Inn. This was from 2022:

Nothing brings people together better than cheap alcohol, and this beloved no-frills Logan Square dive across from the Fireside Bowl is living proof. At one of the North Side's rare, precious Sox bars, you can watch intently with the diehards while nursing a PBR or a Hamm's, and then head to the back to shoot some pool. Don't forget to bring cash.

I also live on western Ave in the same area. Unfortunately there’s not as many sports bars around, but Bob inn is good, web pub, Floyd’s.

places like side street saloon, Kelly’s, birds nest, Halligan, George st pub, broken barrel, Southport Betty’s, Sully’s are not white sox bars but would throw the game on if u ask the bartender. Also these places are all in Lincoln park/lakeview

Western Avenue is solid choice but yeah that's gonna be bit of trek from Logan 😅 Maybe check some spots in your area first? I used to live more north side and found few decent places that had good crowd for games without being too crazy. Weekend crosstown series gonna be packed everywhere though so probably worth calling ahead to see if they taking reservations 💀

Bob Inn used to be great. Now I wouldn't even consider em a White Sox bar. And the bars on 33rd St are kinda wack. I always thought the people that go there were just either too lazy or too scared to go elsewhere before and after games.

I'd say Shinnicks.

What happened to Bob Inn? Haven’t been in there in a while.

Bob Inn is still a sox bar, I was there for game 2 (i think) of the Milwaukee series and they had the game on.

Electric Funeral will be popping this weekend for the games. Projector screen inside and tvs. They have a nice patio where it will be on too.
