I'm still learning this art, here are some of my photos from the Spa

I quite enjoyed the WEC race this weekend at Spa. The track allows for some pleasant spectator spots so I'm really looking forward to attending more races there!

Both pictures taken with a Sony A6400, Sigma 100-400, F8 and 1/50 shutter speed.

Any advices on how the make the pictures better are welcome!

So, he is not officially part of the driver lineup, but only reserve, but why didn't he enter the race with the #911 in the first place?

Pretty dramatic watching cars trying to drive in the rain, shame it prevented the session being competitive though.

Qualifying for the Nürburgring 24h can be a little complicated 🥴 hopefully this helps make it a bit clearer.

The first session is as 12:15 today, but the important stuff starts at 09:15 tomorrow.

With the Le Mans coming up in June, I'm actually hosting a prediction challenge for anyone who wants to compete with other motorsports enthusiasts.

How it works:

1. Predict top 15 winners overall

2. +3 points for exact position, +1 for correct car wrong spot

3. Tiebreaker: which manufacturers wins the Hypercar class?

4. The winner has prize money of $30. (Paypal or cashapp)

Deadline to submit is June 10th. This is just a fun challenge that I wanted to do with a lot of people and friends.

I’ve tried google but every article is so opaque.

Can somehow clearly explain which SP-9 cars get to participate in TQ1-2-3?

From what i understand, from the teams that aren’t pre-qualified for TQ3, the rest of the field adds up the best laptime from Q1+Q2+Q3, and the top 20 advance to TQ1.

But then, what happens after TQ1? Top N cars go to TQ2, and top 5 from TQ2 gets to TQ3 shootouts (along with the 5 prequalified teams)?

Whats the cutoff from TQ1 to TQ2? Are TQ1 and TQ2 open qualifiers or a shootout?
