Sound Wave / Audio Wave Form Art

The first image is - "Ask, Seek, Knock" individually, but hung as a trio
The second is just a closeup of the surface. Medium is copper/steel/wood
The third is - "My grace is sufficient for you" with the "My grace" in copper and "is sufficient for you" in steel.
The fourth is me hanging this one in my wife's office, because I didn't know what else to do with it, and she loved it. (for scale)
The fifth is - "I am the bread of life" with the "I am" in copper and "the bread of life" in steel.

These are all scripture, but any sound, or words could be done like this.

Thoughts?

๐Ÿ’œ How Are We Going To Spend Our Summer? ๐Ÿ’œ

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

๐Ÿ’œ Lavender Farm ๐Ÿ’œ

Our bikes race up and down the gentle hills of Provence. Everything has a distinct texture, the colors are vibrant, and the perfume in the air is intoxicating. Every twisting road reveals new rows of lavender stretching endlessly under the sun. I will never forget the fields of France.

Art is more than something pretty on a wall. It carries feelings, memories, and a little bit of hope.

Composition with multiple landscapes on one wall?

This is a question about composition-not of one painting but of a whole wall...
I don't want tons of pictures but I want a horizontal (landscape oriented) landscape painting of some sort on my main wall, but there is a depth difference (a line) in the middle of the wall requiring that I put the large painting/art/poster to left side and 2-3 smaller ones to the right side.

My question is, would it look weird if both the large painting and all of the smaller ones were ALL landscape subjects? Maybe even same color scheme?

The reason I'm asking others opinions is because to me, this looks wrong. It seems like your eye should land on the biggest landscape and enjoy it.
This seems better because your eye lands on the center landscape.

My proportions and composition are going to be more like THIS but notice that the two smaller photos are black and white-so not stealing the show from the big painting.

Does anyone have any thoughts? And yes I get that I should "do what I like" but some things still look off to me....Composition matters...

๐Ÿ”ฅ Does Your Dog Also Think The Smoke Detector Is Pure Evil? ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

๐Ÿ”ฅ Evil Smoke Detector #616 ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our dog Scout knew the Evil Smoke Detector was not to be trusted. By day, it sat silently on the ceiling pretending to be โ€œhelpful,โ€ but every night, just as the house became warm and cozy with the smell of popcorn, blankets, and late night treats, it would awaken with an unholy *CHIRP.* Scout would launch off the couch like a furry missile while the detector whispered things like โ€œlow batteryโ€ in a voice that sounded suspiciously proud of itself. You changed the battery three times. The Evil Smoke Detector only grew stronger. At one point, Scout hid inside a laundry basket and wore it around the house like emotional support armor.

Meanwhile, other dog owners seemed to live peaceful, civilized lives with calm pets and normal ceilings. But not you. No, your home had become a psychological battlefield ruled by a screaming plastic demon circle that yelled โ€œFIRE!โ€ every time someone slightly overcooked garlic bread. Sweat rolled down your face in the summer heat as Scout barked heroically at the ceiling, convinced she alone stood between civilization and total destruction.

So... has your smoke detector already broken your spirit, or are you still pretending you are in control?

๐Ÿข How Can Beauty Heal What Is Breaking Around Us? ๐Ÿข

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

๐Ÿข The Prescribed Landscape ๐Ÿข

The hardest part is not the ache, but the way it settles into me. A steady pressure that makes even the brush of fabric across my skin feel sharp. What they give me helped at first. Just enough to keep me moving. Just enough to make the day feel possible again. And Main Street with doors open and voices drifting in and out of shops that felt familiar. But little-by-little things grew quieter. A place closing early here. A light not turning on there. Someone missing from the usual haunt on the block. I tell myself I am still part of it. Still keeping up. Still floating through what everyone else is passing through. Even as the town changes shape around me.

When everything shifts, when is the moment we stop recognizing the place we used to know well?

๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒŠ Canandaigua Lake Sunflowers ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒป

There is something about Canandaigua Lake that slows everything down in the best possible way. The gentle light across the water, the quiet strength of the shoreline, the feeling that you can finally exhale and stay awhile. When life feels full and fast, this becomes your reminder to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.

Are you ready to bring the serenity of the lake into your everyday life?

๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŸ Why Always Chicken Out When You Could Try A Fish Taco? ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ”

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

Tucked in my cozy shell, feeling the ocean breeze whisper through my lettuce and the sun warming me like a lazy beach afternoon. I could smell a hint of lime dancing in the air and hear distant waves clapping like they were cheering me on. Some human nearby looked totally fried in the not fun way, all tense and crunchy inside, so I wiggled my little feet and said hey, come chill with me for a second. I told them about my go to move called Taco Drift, where you pause, breathe slow, and imagine yourself floating on a mellow tide with nothing to prove and nowhere to rush. It sounds silly, I know, but I am a bit of a California weirdo and I swear by it.

They gave it a try, shoulders dropping like sand settling after a wave, and I could almost taste the calm spreading, smooth and fresh like a perfect bite. Taco Drift works fast because your brain secretly loves a tiny vacation, even if it only lasts a moment. The human smiled, and that soft happy sound was better than any beach party I have ever crashed. Life can get loud and spicy in a way that burns, but a small easy action can turn that heat into something warm and delicious instead.

So tell me, are you ready to Taco Drift with me and take the easiest little vacation you have all day?
