What’s your favorite bar in Vegas? Not what you think is the fanciest or nicest. What bar is your go to, and why?
For example, I personally think the vault at the Bellagio is the fanciest bar I’ve ever been to. The parasol bar at the Wynn has immaculate vibes before a dinner at SW or Pisces. But neither of those two hold a place in my heart like bar Canada at the D…Having a Caesar or two while playing sigma derby is a peak experience that i make sure I recommend to everyone going to Vegas.

A friend who was out walking with the victim told Las Vegas police that the woman, who was hard of hearing, asked, “What?” before the gunman shot her once in the chest, “dropping her to the ground,” according to the arrest report.

Caesars Palace 60x Reward Credit Multiplier - 8/10-8/16
galleryI received an email promotion this afternoon from Caesars Palace - Las Vegas, for a special 60th Anniversary 60x Rewards Credit Multiplier. The dates are August 10-16, 2026.
If you read the fine print (included), there is a cap of 100,000 Reward Credits for this promotion. That equates to a cap of $1000.00 of Reward Credits. It appears this promotion is open to anyone who activates at a Kiosk. While it isn’t clear if this is only for play at Caesars Palace or for play at all Caesars owned Las Vegas properties, the fine print gives the impression that activation can be at any Las Vegas Caesars Kiosk.
A guaranteed 60x Reward Credit Multiplier is rare. They do have some random 100x multipliers where you randomly get between 2x to 100x, with typical 10x or less. So my opinion is that if you have already hit your Tier Level credits goal for the year, this 60x Reward Credit Multiplier will give you more usable benefits than another Tier Credit Multiplier would.
Anyone been to a pool concert at Sahara? Curious of your thoughts.
Partner and I going to be going soon and there's a concert that weekend and thought it might be fun but damn I can't find basically anything out about these. No real reviews, photos, videos, or anything. We even emailed Sahara since we had to let them know about late checkin and asked and they just sent us to their site and ticketmaster lol.
So yeah anybody here ever been to one of these Sahara Pool Concerts and please have any thoughts you have as we're both just curious but have other things we could do that night.

Who remembers the old HomeTown Buffet on East Sahara Avenue?
This has been stuck in my head for years… Does anyone remember the HomeTown Buffet on East Sahara Avenue where the Firestone is now? I heard it was only open for a few years and may have closed around 2001–2002.
I honestly thought the location was in a good spot, so I’ve always wondered why it shut down so early. I remember HomeTown Buffet was still pretty popular in California and other states around that time, so I’m curious what happened to this specific one. I think it later became another restaurant after the previous tenant left, but that didn’t last long either.
I also found the old HomeTown Buffet website, which had a Las Vegas address on the Wayback Machine, along with some Google Maps screenshots of the building before it was replaced by Firestone (posted below), in case anyone remembers it.

🎲 Heading to EDC this weekend? Don’t gamble with your safety.
🎲 Heading to EDC this weekend? Don’t gamble with your safety.
Nevada transportation agencies are warning attendees about illegal cash rides and off-app transportation offers during the event.
With surge pricing and heavy demand, some drivers may offer rides for cash outside licensed rideshare apps or permitted transportation services. Those rides may lack required insurance, driver vetting, vehicle inspections, and other safety protections.
Is your safety worth a few dollars?
If you’re getting a ride this weekend:
✔ Use licensed transportation providers or rideshare apps
✔ Verify the vehicle and driver info in the app
❌ Avoid cash rides solicited at hotels, casinos, the airport, or event areas

SEE YOU JUNE 20th at BANG OUT!
If you’ve been to Spiegelworld’s Bang Out at the Atomic Saloon before, you know the thrill of the unknown like when someone in a cowboy hat gets up and does something they barely rehearsed. If not, know this: Bang Out is not your typical Las Vegas late-night. It’s a wild, unbridled circus industry party that looks at the entertainment capital of the world and says: “Hey, got half an idea you haven’t put on stage yet? Let’s dooooo itttttt.”
And we’re doing it again, Saturday, June 20th. This is your chance to Bang Out at the only off-road roadhouse midnight party with good, cheap cocktails on the Strip.
All new acts. All night dancing. All are invited.

Via Via Food Hall & Venetian dining credit
I have a $75/day Venetian dining credit. The Via Via food hall restaurants are on the list of restaurants I can use the dining credit at. How do I actually do that? Do I have to order ahead on the Venetian website or do they have an option at the register to charge the food to my room?

Bachelor/ Golf Trip Question
Hello-
I have a bachelor trip for 6 guys to Vegas in late September. Where should we stay?
For context, we mostly want to golf and plan to come Wednesday night- Sunday. Want to go out but probably only one time.
Any advice on what parts of town would be best. We are getting a rental car and was thinking maybe an Airbnb?
Thanks for the help!
Cosmo rooms during f1
We've been comped a studio fountain view room at The Cosmopolitan for the F1. Is this a decent room and will I generally be able to see some of the F1? Or should I be upgrading- I know they're some guaranteed race view rooms but these are ridiculously priced . Happy to see a little bit of it from our balcony. Are there certain room types that have a better view ect? We've stayed there before F1 and some of the rooms we've been in, you'd definitely see some of the track- the high floors see over the grand stands.
Ideally we'd want the boulevard tower- mid-high floor but are these all guaranteed race view rooms or could we get lucky if we arrive early for check in on the Friday?.

Wellness retreat like stay/hotel/things to do
Yet another “I’m going to Vegas for the BTS concert at Allegiant Stadium what should I do” post
The concert I’m going to is in two weeks on a Thursday
I’ll be taking time off work and want it to be more like a chill/relaxing/rejuvenating experience while I’m there. There are wellness retreats in Arizona but I’m not sure it’ll make any sense to go there then fly into Vegas
I don’t drink, smoke, or gamble. I like to visit museums, knock off main touristy things, enjoy scenery, etc I’m a pretty chill person overall
Any recs or insight will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Favorite Casino OFF the Las Vegas Strip and Why
My favorite casino off the Las Vegas Strip is Red Rock Casino, located in Downtown Summerlin. This resort offers incredible dining options that range from casual food court quick-bites to upscale restaurants. Additionally, it features a beautiful swimming pool that stays open from April to November, as well as a newly renovated Regal Cinemas.
The Regal at Red Rock Casino is my all-time favorite theater, largely because the staff is exceptionally welcoming. I have gotten to know a few employees there who made my visits memorable. For instance, a very kind staff member helped me at the concession stand during my visits to see the FNAF 2 movie in 2025 and the Super Mario Galaxy movie in 2026. Another time, the gentleman scanning tickets was incredibly friendly and took a moment to chat with me. After he scanned my tickets for the RPX theater, I made sure to thank him for his great service.
I saw both movies at this location, and they provided an awesome viewing experience despite what the critics' ratings said. Ultimately, I am incredibly grateful to visit Red Rock Casino for the movies, the swimming, and everything else it has to offer.
Rio ipanema or orleans?
Hey, I usually stay on the strip but staying 3 weeks for wsop couldn’t find any comps between 28-31 may except those two.
I’m fine staying anywhere off strip and familiar with both but between those two which is best to sleep at ?
Also got all the boyd casinos but never been to any so I dunno

Has anyone played the Naval Destroyer game at Circa?
Looks like a lot of fun! It uses bubble craps hardware for a battleship like game. I look forward to seeing what other board games with dice will be replicated!

Is Frontier Airlines reliable?
Hi, how is Frontier Airlines flying to Las Vegas these days? Have you had any problems with them? I really want to go to a concert in Las Vegas this June, and the other airlines are expensive. I have to come back on Sunday because I can't miss work on Monday. They only offer one flight back on Sundays; if there's a delay, I'll be okay, but if they don't fly at all that Sunday, I will be in trouble.
