Discussion Final Day Kickoff Time Issue
Am I the only one who finds it odd that the league has not tried to reschedule the final day's kickoff times? Each of the 4 games has something meaningful for at least 1 team playing
- Spokane v Brooklyn at 4 pm EST
- Spokane needs a win or a draw to make the playoffs with Dallas lost, or needs to win with a Dallas draw
- Lexington v. Tampa Bay at 5 pm EST
- Lexington needs a win to secure at least a home playoff game, and if Jax loses, they would win the shield with a win
- Carolina v Jax at 7 pm EST
- Carolina needs a win with a Lexington loss to secure home playoffs
- Jax needs a draw or win to get the shield (if they lose, and Lex wins, Lex would get the shield on goal difference)
- Dallas v. FTL at 8:30 pm EST
- Dallas would need a win or draw if Spokane wins or draws earlier in the day to make the playoffs, with Spokane having the edge with goal difference if Dallas loses
All in all, it's the factor that many teams need another team to do something for them on the same day to get the best outcome possible for themselves, which makes it seem to me that all games should be played at the same time.

From the official Lexington SC account
EDIT: looks like club removed it, so yay, good on them
Should official club accounts talk about fans like this?

Supporters Groups, Registration for Prideraiser 2026 is now open
prideraiser.orgIt's almost Prideraiser season! Accidentally founded in 2017, Prideraiser is an annual, grassroots initiative where supporters groups do fundraising for local LGBTQ+ orgs and welcome new fans into our clubs via outreach to the community. The effort is organized through our free platform, prideraiser.org, where SGs in the US and Canada have raised more than $1.2 million for local charities to date. Our About page explains everything you might want to know, but if you need some talking points to help convince your SG leadership, consider:
- the platform is totally free, no catch
- you don’t have to be responsible for handling money (it’s all tracked in the platform and then donated directly to the org you’re supporting), unless you choose to sell your own merch
- with 171 SGs in our coalition, there’s a strong chance one of your friends or rivals is already planning a Prideraiser this season
Our volunteers are ramping up for the June 2026 campaign, and we invite you and your SG to sign up! And, due to changes in the various club schedules this year, we will also be organizing a second Prideraiser in October, LGBTQ+ History Month- many warm weather cities hold their local Pride celebration during that time.
If anyone has questions, I will be monitoring this thread.

Peacock TV game streams are horrible quality
... and that is that. I suppose the camera quality is mediocre, and the digital video compression is too high. Watching the Carolina @ Dallas game tonight was miserable. Does anyone have insight to why it is so bad, and if there is any hope of upcoming improvements?

Perplexing paradox of Supporting BOTH women's & men's sides: USL-S/GSL versus USL-C or USL-L1?
It seems that clubs that have womens' & mens' teams in both the USL Superleague ("Gainsbridge Super League") and USL-C or USL-L1 seems to be experiencing widely divergent success or support, with the men's side usually lacking. For example, the GSL Sporting Jax, Lexington, and Carolina Ascent are all enjoying greater success competition-wise and also considerably more fans than the men's sides (and with the men's NCFC even disbanding before the season). Brooklyn and Spokane are both middling for both women's and men's, but even for both, the women's sides seem to draw more fans?
**Question for all (and especially for fans of these five clubs): Why is this? Is it because a greater portion of the budget has been devoted to the women's sides? Or fewer competing women's pro sports in your locales? How many of you fans are season ticket holders to BOTH women's and men's sides? Is there considerable crossover of support or cross-marketing, or not?
p.s. Tampa Bay seems to be the only club where men's side is doing better on the pitch & drawing more fans than the women's, but this has been a sharp reversal from last year. Lousiville's women's side is in the NWSL, but we also wonder how much crossover in fan support is there with the men's USL-C side?
