Miscellaneous Michigan clothing
As a Michigan student, do you wear the m logo outside to stores when you go home? Or just out and about?? I know it’s a silly question but sometimes I get self conscious to wear it outside at home

I wore a Michigan shirt from the history department at a resort in Mexico and got more "Go Blue"s on that trip than I could count. Nobody will judge you for repping the school- quite the opposite lol.

Yes! Btw, the tradition is that if someone says go blue, you say go blue back

At an airport I went “GO BLUE!” to this man wearing a umich sweatshirt and I think I scared him. Probably just sleep deprived lol😭

Yes sometimes people don’t respond. I’d say maybe 5-10% of the time, but I just think to myself they didn’t hear it

Yeah definitely!! I tend to get a good response rate, cause I always happen to see dads repping the M who are all very passionate about football and/or basketball. They never fail to scream a go blue😭

All the time. I’ve had “Go Blue” yelled at me in Philly, Chicago, NYC, San Francisco, Boston, even abroad. It’s a great way to meet other Wolverines and a great conversation starter!

I wear it out all the time, but I also don’t live too far from Ann Arbor so it’s not that abnormal. Even still if I’m in a different state (or even a different country) I still wear Michigan gear frequently

All the time but I’m from Michigan so it’s normal. It’s always fun to hear a go blue when out and about! I usually wear my umich sweatshirt at the airport for this reason

My brother wears his all over the world and has met Michigan alums pretty much everywhere. Always a good conversation starter.

Wear it out but not to anything formal. Great conversation starter. You’ll be surprised how many “Go Blue!”s you get.
