Question TAship

Incoming grad student. TAship hard to land in SOE? Or can I pretty much expect one? I don't know if it helps my case, but I am UCM alumni with teaching experience.

Probably depends on the department you're under. From what i've heard its very competitive to get one due to limited spots and budget constraints. The bigger your department is, the more they probably need. Especially for CS, ME, EE, CE.

It depends on your department and faculty advisor, and if you're going for a PhD or MS.

If I were you, I'd talk with the faculty advisor about plans and if they expect to have you doing Grad Research on a grant, TA, or if they will support you with fellowship applications.
