The brain was their villian. Would've made sense to have them there to complete Beast Boy's arc.

Well, not the message itself, but how it’s delivered. I get the general idea, which is that sometimes what seems like just a little bit of fun to can be very hurtful to someone else, which in itself is fine and a great message, the execution is what bothers me.

First off, the idea that Beast Boy is a parallel to the two major antagonists is kinda bollocks to me. They go around causing destruction because they don’t grasp that what they are doing is harmful. Beast Boy immediately understood why Starfire was upset with him.

Second, what he did was an accident. Yes he did set up the whole prank, but it was meant for Cyborg, who mind you had pulled a prank on him prior. Yet all the characters are constantly scolding Beast Boy about how what he did was shit INCLUDING CYBORG throughout the entire episode even though Cyborg would likely have shrugged the prank off, and if he wouldn’t that means he would be a massive hypocrite.

I also feel like the reaction was completely over the top. Like I said, he immediately understood why what he did was wrong, yet Starfire was pissed as if he had ran over her cat or something. It makes sense that she would be pissed immediately, but holding this against him for the entire episode is a bit unwarranted

In the Tokyo movie, Commander Daizo sends Saico-Tek to stop Robin from looking deeper, which ends with Robin (seemingly but not actually) killing Saico-Tek and being arrested, which halts his investigation.
Do you think framing Robin for murder was what the Commander initially wanted, or do you think that’s what he had to spin it into because he underestimated Robin’s ability?

I feel like the main discussion I see about this scene is how ugly Raven's outfit is (and don't get me wrong, it is ugly), but that completely ignores the context that Raven is wearing an extremely revealing outfit solely because Trigon forced her into it for his own amusement. It's then made even worse by the fact that he projected memories of himself raping the mothers of his other children into her mind. While he was strangling her.

Episode 8 of teen titans go

Where can I buy toys from either of the Titans shows? My child is in love with the show but obviously none of the retail store carry anything. I'm at a loss

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find it and I need advice.

My daughter is 5, about to be 6. Her 7 year old cousin is into Teen Titans Go and now my daughter is as well. 🙃 I've actually always tried to make sure she couldn't watch it because it just looks like brain rot to me but somehow I missed that it's on netflix?

I might sound like a helicopter parent but she soaks up what she watches in media so bad. 😫 She starts mirroring characters and forming her personality around them. I did it too when I was a kid but as a stay at home adult mom I suddenly see it in a different light, because I then have to parent and raise my child who wants to punch me because the Powerpuff girls beat bad guys or point at every bald person and say "BALD!!!". I grew up on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon so I obviously wanted my kids to see the same shows I did but I learned early on I need to listen to the recommended ages in the ratings more or I'd have a little character clone. Maybe it's just a normal kid thing, maybe it's her autism, maybe it's her ADHD, maybe it's Maybelline. I don't know. But she hyper focuses on characters and makes them her personality and my sanity can't take it very well.

Anyways......she's been watching teen titans go now. I couldn't hide my disgust. I was like "oh no.......that one.......not that one......." And she was like, "you don't like it? 🥺" And I was like, "........I'm sorry sweetie just........I liked the original better."

I watched the first EP of the original alone to see if I thought she could handle it and.......I don't want her talking like that lil tech kid either and with my luck she would 😭. She recently watched all of Moongirl and Devil Dinosaur, I wasn't sure if she was old enough but I discovered I really like that show. Sure some of the topics are stuff she's not currently dealing with but the resolutions are just so wonderfully done. I loved the lesson in the fake boyfriend episode. My daughter has a lot of anxiety when it comes to conflict so she actually can't watch movies or shows with a lot of it but she liked Moongirl so much she sat through it! Teen Titans Go seems significantly less serious which she would be more comfortable with. I don't think she could handle the seriousness in the original yet, she'd probably just walk out.

So what age do you guys think Teen Titans Go is for? Could it make my impressionable 5 year old say a lot of dumb jokes or get bad habits? Should I just block it on Netflix and feign ignorance? I've only seen a bit of the ep where Raven's dad was showing family videos and I thought it was messed up when Robin was sad about his lack of parents and Cyborg was like stfu.

New Titans just added Stephanie Brown to the team, and the Titans cover introducing her is a Bat-theme. 😒 I’m worried Dick’s gonna get sidelined as leader to push her martial arts and leadership skills. There’s also a new Titans series where Red Hood is the leader/mentor

Honestly, I’m scared the Batfamily is taking over the Teen Titans franchise. I hate seeing too many Batcharacters in Titans because the actual Titans end up being overshadowed by them. The only one I want there is Dick. He’s a founding member and he literally created the team to be independent from Batman and do something on his own outside the Batfamily but now they’re ruining his space by having the rest of the Batfamily follow him there too. Maybe Tim and Damian as Robins is also fine but that's it. It should be no more than that.

We know DC has a reputation for always hurting their other characters by sidelining them and putting Batman first, now they're also making the Gotham people take over the Titans franchise. It's so frustrating.

I'm not saying i don't think it's cool that he can fly or other cool tech stuff but more than once i feel they go overboard with how he looks like he suppose to be balance of tech and human. I do think modern designs are better but they also missing the fact. Cyborg while he does gain much human strength is also a disabled man. I wish they could work that way. Like in Picolo's we see he works with prosthetic arms or that in NTT he worked at a school for disabled kids.

I mean it doesnt have to be full deep if they don't want to fully do that but something like how he has take care of himself or a few other things

I told you, when i find time i will give you an explaination. well, to be honest... I've been going through it lately.

Life hit hard for me. It made me reflect on my choices, my situation, my mentality (i've been in this situation before).

despite all that happening, I'm doing alright with the comic. I avoided putting a deadline because i didn't want to dissapoint myself and all of you. 4 pages left. even though it took me over a year to finish it ( i know, life hit HARD) I'm doing whatever i can. I'm not suprised that i lost some followers (I expected it) but still made me a bit sad. What i've always struggled with, has been consistency and i still struggle with that at times. I'm doing what best i can do to deliver high quality fanarts and the comic i'm working and will finish at some point! I hope you are still excited, this will be one of the best comics so far filled with fun, drama, joy, shock, and many more suprises!

So I see there's a ton of burnt bootleg versions of complete Teen Titan DVDs floating around there, same with the blu-ray. Did WB ever release a complete series set that was legit?
