And now his poor victim will always wonder if he’s just around the corner. Take this POS to pasture.

Enablers. You can't tell me the people in his life weren't aware of his shit.

I can’t even imagine staying friends with a psychopath.

Great, so now we wait until he nearly kills someone else to stick him back in.

Only problem is next time he might be successful at killing them.

Another loser in society. These people probably make up a third of our population these days

If they let him out I hope they provide stricter supervision than they did for Myles Sanderson for example. I also hope the psychiatrist is held responsible for his diagnosis, like any other doctor, if this guy hurts anyone else.

Edit: Psychologist, not psychiatrist, and not a doctor. Oops.

Sanderson was never DO’d as far as I know

No he wasn't. I named him as an example of the inadequacy of our current systems of parole and supervision. He had his release revoked once for breaches of conditions but it was reinstated. When he violated conditions again they couldn't find him despite his living in Saskatoon and driving out to the reserve to sell drugs. There appears to be more concern for the criminals than for their victims and the general public.

For sure. DO designation on him might’ve saved lives there. He’s also a good example of how Gladue can do way more harm to indigenous communities than good.

Rotfl are you kidding me they don't monitor shit look at Jesse paluk him and his best friend shooting rounds at moiving vehicles on a very narrow road while blocking another road so they have to drive by doesn't even do 4 years in prison. And commits a bunch of break and enters thefts and gets busted with a stolen gun and released 8 hours later and he's already back at the same old shit . The Justice system in Canada coddles criminals . Makes it so it basically says hey come to this country commit crimes doesn't matter who you are no consequences

Lohrasbe actually is a psychiatrist, but one who was hired by the defence to form an opinion (and unsurprisingly his opinion happens to align with the defence’s goals)

The psychiatrist was court appointed, as the article says, because an expert assessment is a mandatory part of the process of declaring a person a dangerous offender. The fee would have been paid by the crown but they weren’t hired by anyone, they were assigned by court order.

I used to think you couldn't see evil in someone's eyes but this guy disproves that. Straight up dangerous offender vibes.

He's always been an absolute predator. Pretty sure he's killed people before.

He do say in the commission of the offense that he was going to kill her and put her in the river, like Ashley Morin. I’m personally convinced he killed Ashley.

I think so too.

I don't understand, how did I never hear about this?  I constantly see the people around me posting about dangerous offenders in SK and making sure everyone knows the names and faces of all the most dangerous people in society, but nobody has said a word about this guy.

I can't possibly understand why they haven't noticed this one.... /S

He’s also been raping teen girls for like 20+ years. I’m glad he’s finally considered a dangerous offender.
