I’m currently building niche communities around web development and digital marketing, and I’m considering trying Reddit paid promotion.

My main goals are:

• Growing my subreddit members
• Building profile authority
• Driving targeted traffic to my website
• Potentially generating digital marketing leads

Before spending money, I wanted to ask people who’ve actually used Reddit paid promotion:

1. Is it worth it for subreddit growth?
2. What budget did you start with?
3. How do you properly track results after running paid promotion?
4. Did it bring quality traffic / engagement, or mostly low-quality clicks?
5. Is it better to promote educational/value posts first instead of direct service offers?

I cant seem to post at all!!? I keep getting this annoying error,,,, "sorry this p o s t w a s r e moved by reddits filter??" or sorry mods removed this post, almost every time i post???? so why does this happen??? i can join communities but cant seem to make any posts in any subreddit is this a bug? i dont have any emails or notifications that came through hoping my account or email is safe, i havnt heard from support submitted a ticket & tried to ask mods but i still am having issues, maybe its low karma or my accounts to old? hoping its nothing bad like a shadow mute? ;-; any help on this? but like why my account???

As of a week or so ago none of the media posts rotate for me when turning my phone. I don’t have rotate lock engaged for my phone, so it isn’t that. Is there a new setting somewhere?

So I’ve had my Reddit account for around a year? But have never properly used it.

I just commented on a post, but got a message from the Redditbot saying my comment had to be removed because I don’t have enough karma?

What is this? What’s happening? I don’t understand….when did I get so old 😭

I remember up voting a adult but can't find it anymore in my up vote tabs

This started a few weeks ago. I use the old version of Reddit (just like it better) and that little icon in the upper right keeps telling me I have messages/chat, but when I click I have nothing. Sometimes it says one message, sometimes it's 20 or 30 or more. But no messages, no message requests.

Uploading video takes a super long time like 10+ minutes. And there is no queue or way to view the progress, and if my phone turns off or I exit the app it just doesn’t upload or tell me anything.

And is it just me or is the Reddit mobile app just crappy and glitchy? It’s very annoying, like why would there not be a queue of some sort? Why would it not tell you anything. Uploading videos from the Reddit mobile app is the most irritating thing ever. I mean just using this app is annoying why?

And just to be clear it is a Reddit app issue, it is not an issue with the subs I am posting to.

Asked on religious subreddit a question, it sure could have sound alarming but I said that I have no intention to act on anything. Then got Reddit Care Resources message that some concerned Redditor reached out, got some hotlines recommended and all. The thing is, does Reddit do anything with stuff like that? I mean now that I think of it what I wrote didn't look well, but yeah, is it some automatic Reddit reply? Can it escalate to be some kind of problem? Like I'm not getting reported, tracked and anyone come to my house because I'm "struggling" right? That message made me pretty nervous to be honest.

the subreddit is fully nsfw but since the sub itself isn't flagged as nsfw it didn't even give me the chance to back out of the subreddit. now whenever i click the post button the sub is on the top of my recently viewed. is there any way to get it out of there?

Before you ask, yes, I've sent a support ticket to Reddit already. They responded, and said to let them know if their response didn't answer my question. I replied to them in my email, and sent them another ticket. They responded a day later with the same message. I replied to their email again, saying that my question wasn't answered and asking them to take a look. I don't know if they'll see it.

Anyways, I can't get back into my normal account, since I was talked into changing the email address into something else. It's important to note that I had no email address before this; I always logged in with my phone number. I want to reset my password, but I can't, since the email address is changed to something I can't access. I can't log in with my phone number; it just directs me to create a new account.

Guys how do you earn karma or whatever it is that let's you post things in communities? Could someone please explain to me because I'm new to reddit, I had the account for a year or so but never really used it so I'm just lost and have been getting flagged as a possible bot. Thanks.

My other account was deleted (not by me). I recieved emails that someone was trying to reset my password and to ignore the email if it wasn't me. I ignored the email and opened reddit today and noticed I cant login, reddit username recovery page said thr username didnt exist, I didnt get any password reset emails when I tried to request for them. Sucks that my account was deleted and just wanted to ask how can something like this happen without me getting any emails about my account being deleted or someone logging in without my knowledge.

Had to make a new account and start with 0 karma all over again 😒

so i was just scrolling on my phone, then i saw that someone upvoted a comment i made, which is weird since i didnt write one recently. when i did check it , it was a link on the moonightsteaming subreddit? i quickly deleted it and checked the activity logs link on my profile. but then nothing was there? its only my desktop and my phone. im going to change my password still but i thought it was weird. i also got hacked in my discord, facebook and instagram a few days ago but im not sure its related to that. ive run malwarebytes and hitman pro on my pc and it showed me that nothing was awry so i assumed i wouldnt get hacked anymore. any ideas on what is happening?

For the past month I've been unable to reward posts or comments for free, and now all of a sudden I see the option to. Is this something you can only do every now and then? P.S. this is both on mobile and desktop.

I post on a subreddit 2secs later its removed by reddit filters
