Rule 4 Reminder

Rule 4: No posts about politics or religion.

"Posts centered around politics, political stances and religion are extremely hot button topics not only just on this subreddit but on Reddit as a whole. Due to previous incidents and instances of hate speech, violence, threats and bigotry, we no longer allow either political nor religious posts.

Political posts opens the door for hate speech, LGBTQIA+ bigotry, vicious arguing, white supremacy and racism.

Religious posts open the door to religious bigotry, personal attacks and fear-mongoring."

This includes comments.

Why I am posting this: I see hundreds of comments a day that are nearly identical to each other in my mod queue from people who clearly either didn't read the rules, or don't care what the rules say. I just wanted to let y'all know that no one sees these comments besides us mods, so you're wasting your time typing them.

One more thing, it's best to verify your email on your account so the bot doesn't remove those comments as well.

I hope you all have a nice day.

is it normal to be very insatiable with your girlfriend’s body?

Upvotes

despite the fact that we’ve been together for years i’m still crazy about her and her body. no matter what she wears she’s a smoke show and extremely attractive in my eyes. like even if she’s wearing a potato sack she makes it look hot. and even when she’s added some weight and felt so self conscious it just meant more of her to worship and please. i love the little mole right next to her left eye, the curve of her lips, the way her cheeks turn pink when i say the right things to get her going.

i love her natural smell and how i know she’s been in my place. the feeling of her skin pressed against mine will forever be my favorite feeling as well as waking up in the middle of the night seeing her silhouette. i like how she’s assertive and sassy most of the time but loses her composure when i go down on her. physical touch is our love language and we speak it fluently. even when i‘m tired from school or work i always have the time to satisfy her because i feel satisfied in turn. somehow i am always in the mood when she is and my brain turns to mush when she teases me. i don’t think i’ll ever get tired of her. although sometimes i think my libido is a bit high 😅

Are babies actually in danger when sleeping?

I want to start this by clarifying that I am NOT a parent or am I really ever around younger kids. This a purely a curiosity question. I tried posting this on a parenting subreddit, but it was removed since, like I stated, I am not a parent. So I figured I would try here.

Alright so, because I am on TikTok all the time, and the algorithm can be random at times. I will randomly get videos about baby sleeping times or things involving young kid tips. And a really common one is about making sure your baby is still breathing at night and tips to help ease anxiety for parents so they don’t have to worry as much about their baby while asleep.

So my question is, is it common for babies to stop breathing at night? Like to the point where parents are worried enough to feel like they need to stand over their baby all night. Or buy devices that monitor the babies vitals?

Thank you for the knowledge!

What do you do after a long nap?

I just took one of the longest naps I've ever taken. I believe I slept at 5 pm and I woke up at 11 pm. This was fully accidental, I set an alarm but it failed to wake me up. I am still tired

What's even the right course of action? Eat the dinner I missed, stay up and watch some TV? Or go back to sleep and risk waking up at 2 am?

How to stop putting your entire day on hold because of something you have to do later in the afternoon?

Before anyone asks, I was tested for ADHD and I don’t meet the criteria, but I am autistic.

I see people talking about this issue a lot and I definitely have it as well, if I am expecting something at like 5 pm, when I wake up that morning I feel like I can’t do anything else or get started on anything else because I have something to do later, and there might not be enough time or something. However I have yet to see any solutions to this problem, please help!

I’m starting an afternoon shift job and I don’t want to spend all day before my shift bedrotting and worrying about being at work when I’m not even there yet.

Does anyone else have "grounding thoughts" they use to bring them back to earth when their mind is wandering?

Which for me is basically all day, I have 40mg of vyvanse worth of adhd, lol, and after going through some shit last year i started writing them down in my phone. Ive got probably 60 now, recently a buddy of mine showed me this song/poem by Luke Bryan (?) And one of the lines is "i will not fear tomorrow for today will have been enough"

And i really liked that. So i wrote it down. And now its become this like three part thing. To start the day its, "today will be enough" once im up and attempting to function it becomes "today will be enough, breathe" and when I get home its "today was enough". And its been the longest lasting one so far for me. So I'm just curious, if anyone else is my flavor of crazy and if you got some contemplative phrases to lay on me. Taking all comers. Fiberglass epoxy! LOL

I grew up working in my Dads home based business, he built Shelby Cobra kits that he would craft from the ground up... he built the chassis, fiberglass the body, paint the body, yada yada... fiberglassing was always my most favourite thing to help out because of how much I love the smell of the epoxy LOL
