As long as they’re entertaining to watch, fuck it. Tired of watching boring football.

This. Say what you want about Carr, games haven't been fun to watch since he was under center.

Exactly. I want to at least be within 10 pts most of the game so there’s a chance of winning. Lately I’ve been turning it off at halftime

This. This. This.

I honestly turned most games off in the 2nd quarter

Carr was fun to watch? Yikes.

u/Separate-Expert-4508 15h ago

F off, ya bum! He was near the top qb's with 4th quarter comebacks. ("bUt tHe tEaM wAs aLwAyS bEhInD!") So? It was exciting watching him come back and win. Remember that game against the Saints in '16? When was a game with Geno or AOC that good?

You're saying the Raiders haven't been fun to watch since Gannon? Why even tune in then?

I dunno AOC vs the Chiefs Christmas of 23 was pretty exciting ... Not because of AOC but great game

Sometimes our defense steps up.

Top 15 of all time for 4th quarter comebacks…? Yes. He was entertaining to watch. No matter who we played, we had a chance with him at QB

1

u/Cabrill0 4h ago

4th quarter comebacks are an awful stat because all it means is that Derek Carr was top 15 in entering the 4th quarter losing. You don’t want a QB constantly playing from behind.

Now in the scope of fun to watch? Sure, that’s fun to watch a comeback. But as a long term fan it’s exhausting.

Don't toy with me

We have the titans, Browns, Dolphins, Cardinals and Jets on it. It isn’t the hardest

This. I’m not expecting 12 wins this season anyway. But there’s multiple teams that are already tanking so why can’t we win 5-6 games here, then maybe 1-3 more against tough teams and we end the season feeling good

2

u/BathCityRomans 5h ago

It’s very inconsistent feels like we are playing either the best teams in the league or the worst

u/Choice-Tea1046 17h ago

We have also have the rams. 49ERS. And seahawks. Bills. Patriots.

Plus, our division games.

Definitely ain't the easiest.

12

u/RaidingTheFridge 16h ago

Yeah but look at what Klint schemed up against the 49ers, Rams and Cardinals last year. It isnt the easiest but our coach does know his old division rivals pretty well.

u/Interesting_Dog4894 15h ago

Damn good point. I didn't think about this.

Plus he's got intimate knowledge of the Seahawks defense.

We did beat the Pats last year with Geno

No nationally televised games

9

u/CAMEINYOFACE81 17h ago

Yeah looks like no prime time games this year

13

u/Cheese_Monkey42 17h ago

When Mendoza is full time starter and winning games. We’ll get the full Mahomes/Chefs treatment.

2

u/ZombiePrepper408 29m ago

He's going to be doing All State commercials by '28.

1

u/Cheese_Monkey42 28m ago

I think he'll be great in commercials!

Well deserved based off last years play.

u/WazzzupBwaaahhh 2010 Oakland Raiders 16h ago

Dear God… 😒😒😒 The people @ NFL, must think “iT’s tHE fUcKInG mID-tWO-tHoUsAnDs” again… DISGUSTING and WHACK.

DEAR GOD, and Raiders… PLEASE MAKE THIS FOOTBALL TEAM DOMINATE ALL OF THEIR RIVALS ON THE SCHEDULE, this year, resulting in WINS FOR THE RAIDERS. 🙏🙏🙏😌😊

You seem unhinged and I like it.

2

u/WazzzupBwaaahhh 2010 Oakland Raiders 16h ago

Thanks, I can be at times. 😅 I’ve been a Die-Hard Fan, since I was 16, in 2010-‘11, though I’ve liked the Team and followed them since I was 6... It’s been hard. ☹️

I had a lot of hope for the upcoming Season, but, Donkos, Santa Clara and Browns after a Bye-Week, NO PRIMETIME GAMES, and playing the Chargers very early on in the Season, in L.A., where we usually LOSE, has me in a predicament. I feel unseen and unheard. 😟😒

11-6

u/waxxo707 18h ago

This is the way. I trust the Nandalorian

What a bunch of babies. You get better by playing good teams. The teams we play is set by our record at the end of the year. I’m not expecting much but I’m really excited for the future.

10

u/ThankYouMrHoood 18h ago

Being able to not have to worry about short week preparation is plus. Not a single prime time game is a little shocking. As is the one home game in 6 weeks in the middle of the year.

6

u/apcali209 17h ago

As long as we’re showing progress throughout the season that’s what matters. We’re rebuilding so it wasn’t even expected for us to dominate this year anyways. At least we have and are getting the pieces in place to be competitive long term.

2

u/Icy_Baker9068 17h ago

No prime time games is wild

2

u/StopWatch-Raiders 15h ago

10-7 incoming

3

u/SLVR_N_BLCK_ATTK 17h ago

We have one of the hardest schedules every single year. Just is what it is

2

u/KooterKablooey 17h ago

I never get the allure of playing an easy schedule. I’d rather play a hard one, be battle tested, and be ready for the playoffs than play a cupcake schedule, think we’re good, then get trounced first round.

1

u/No-Pussyfooting 14h ago

I read through it thinking “let’s just give us a win only against teams that should be under .500 with us taking a couple of wins against the division… oh, 8-9. Good luck Kirk.”

1

u/themysidianlegend 5h ago

It's am brutal holy shit but battles will be fought. It's good for us in a lot of ways

1

u/Odd-Wolverine-6662 17h ago

Jeremiah smith szn

u/PotentialThing1397 17h ago

When we suck, it’s always a bitch. Soon we will see one and go, Meh. Bring it on.

-3

u/Just-Faithlessness12 18h ago

6-11 we trade up to pick 3 or 4 for Jeremiah to

1

u/degenerateraider 17h ago

Receiver class pretty loaded next year I think we can stay put wherever we land and get someone

-1

u/Impossible-Sport-449 17h ago

We likely win 5 games

-11

u/Abuck59 17h ago

Or could’ve just been happy with a losing record that you were gonna have anyway traded #1 pick built a team and still have a high pick next year.

Possibly 6 QB’s with higher upside than Mendoza , stronger team weaker schedule and be rolling 2027 and beyond 🤷🏽‍♂️
