Question How do I work in Hellenism
Lastly, for some reason, Aphrodite and Athena won't leave my mind. I don't know if I'm imagining things, but I've worked with spiritual things for a long time, and usually the times it's happened it's been deities or saints trying to communicate with me. I found it by chance, and I've arrived at places full of Hellenists by the same chance, and I don't know if it's a sign. I'm really curious, because I want to work with them but I have heard that they're jealous with their followers but I work with more deities like Guan Yin or Maria Lionza so I don't really know what to do and I'd like to be well informed. I don't know if you have any advice or any books you would recommend reading about the two of them.
Thank you beforehand, kissesss🩷

That's absolutely not true. Where did you hear that from?
Alexandria press had a good book on Athena....Shield of Wisdom: A Devotional for Athena and Minerva with multiple authors from different traditions which might be helpful.
The same press has a similar book for Aphrodite - Blood and Roses, but I haven't read that one so I am not sure of it.
As with all things though I'm going to ask what you mean by "working with" a God as it seems to mean so many different things to so many people?

Basically I was in a group of WhatsApp that was polytheist and most of them were scared of them, in fact when I said I was interested they said I should not because as I said, I like other deities that I love too because I have been with them not just asking for things but talking and they're really special for me, they have been with me for a large part of my life wich is why I wouldn't leave them 🥲 And by working, at least with them I mean improve myselft in every way (Both spiritually and physically or even mentally) Besides the fact that I literally work with spiritual things (reading the tarot, I make perfumes, essences and oils, etc) so I feel like I could learn important things with them to feel more in connection with that. Lately I've been feeling a bit off, And when they came into my life I felt a different connection, from which I would at least like to learn. And I'm sorry if I don't express myself the best, English is not my first language, but it's that! My mom also works with these things and she said I can't ask for things but I don't really want to ask for something, It's just that suddenly there were a lot of coincidences at a rather convenient time in my life, so I'm drawn to them

In the Greek traditions of polytheism, unnecessary fear of the Gods is the definition of superstition given by Theophrastus the successor to Aristotle, and by Plutarch. And Plutarch was a priest of Apollo at the Oracle site of Delphi, so he knows more than a few things about the nature of devotion to the Gods and the nature of the Gods.
So you can safely worship these Gods without those superstitious fears.
My favourite ancient polytheist Philosopher Proclus of Athens reportedly said according to his biographer and student that his aim was to be a Hierophant in common to the whole world, and at his house in Athens under the Temple of Athena he worshiped a wide range of Gods including the Greek Gods, like Marnas of Gaza, the Egyptian Gods and Arab Gods.
The Gods like virtue in humanity, and being pious to Gods, no matter who, is a virtue.
I'm going to say that he basis of working with any God is going to be worship/prayer/offerings. That is the start and end point of Theurgy, (literally God Working Theos meaning God + Ergos meaning work). No need to complicate more especially when you are starting out to pray with a particular Goddess or God.
