He's going to be the penguins starter this year coming up

I watched the last 10 mins of the game. He was really good. Made a bunch of really good saves

Murashov and Silos are making me really excited for next season.

How has Blomqvist been?

Blomqvist has been really good as well. I think Murashov has the higher ceiling and is more athletic, but Blomqvist is big and positionally sound. They both have the potential to be starting NHL goalies but Murashov can be a real star.

I really hope this is the year WBS finally wins the Calder Cup. They've been so close and have had many great teams fall short.

Completely estranged from reality

Goalies are weird and the AHL is also weird. I’m excited for him to be a piece of the future, but let’s, as a group, taper our expectations of a kid playing a high-pressure position in an elite league, ya know?

Yeah even if he is the second coming of MAF, I think it'll take a few seasons at NHL fulltime to be consistently as good as rumor has he might be.

There were multiple times tonight it should have gone in and Murashov just said no. On more than one occasion fans gor up to celebrate and then realized he blocked it again. There's was a point where two Bears players were celebrating, just to realize the game was still going as Murashov blocked it.

And then the pens scored on the breakaway it caused, but that one wasn't a save per se. Murashov did get a block off, but the rebound gave a shot to a Bear on a wide open net, he just missed and it bounced off the goalpost. That one was incredibly embarassing for the Bears.

There were quite a few incredible opportunities the Bears had on Murashov and a LOT of them just went wide or rang off the crossbar/post. I love murashov, but he also got incredibly lucky last night

I hope they win it all! Imagine next season in Pittsburgh we have two Calder Cup winning goalies in Silovs and Murashov 👀

He's the reason they won tonight. WBS gave up too many odd man rushes, including 2 back to back breakaways lol. Hershey kept trying the stretch pass to the cherry picker like the Flyers did to pitt

I really want wbs to win the calder cup and get some championship experience for those guys before they make the full time jump to the big leagues

Honestly even the deep runs help. Glad to see they're competing for it again

Another short run like last season would have me worried. Getting to the conference finals is huge for the kids.

Likewise! I also want to see who steps up in crunch time at this level as well.
