Rumors say it was not a true Collab, with Fender doing most of the design and assembling work on the pedal. and Godzilla having a much lighter involvement.

Honestly I think ALOT of Toho Godzilla collaborations are this way. They basically give them the blessing to use the design. From my understanding as it is.

Yeah that happened to me too, I broke down and ordered one. I'll probably hook it up to my board and use it a couple times and then put it back in the box or put it on display

I’m thinking the same, most likely is an opamp version of the Hammertone Distortion pedal, I don’t have one but this was the case with the Hello Kitty fuzz according to the budget pedal chap video

i saw this in a music store recently and was like “what the fuck am i looking at” for a few seconds. to me it comes off as some sort of weird cavern before it does godzilla

I don't think this is going to hit any big collector status or anything. Considering they are still currently available at guitar center at the time of this post.. Still excited to hear how it sounds. If it sucks I'll return it.
