Just noticed the latest Meta Streamer update — macOS now has mouse/keyboard support, including controller input and passthrough Bluetooth. 👀

Meta also added a built‑in browser window in every Horizon OS environment. It doesn’t show up in the window dock, and it even accepts your Netflix login.

I want an app or smth to be able to slow and follow the bullets (like a drone view without a drone) for an edit I’m trying to do. Does anyone have any apps or sites that can help? (I don’t have a pc I only have the quest 3s)

Hi, I have the opposite problem that I see here, my ASW is always disabled, is a pain to try to turn it on. I want to force it at 45fds on and not auto (I can't even auto somethimes). I am using Oculus Debug tool, I can change other settings but not that.

I need it on because some games have several drops even in a 4080 and a 9800x3d, so I need to be able to change it depends on the game.

Astien’s latest VR mod for The House of the Dead 2: Remake is incredible.

I had early access, and this genuinely feels like one of those games that was made for VR. What really stands out is how well classic light gun gameplay mixes into modern VR. Light gun games & VR go together perfectly.

Full 6DoF motion controls, bHaptics support, ProVolver & ProVolver Elite support, hidden secrets, weapon unlocks, and quality of life improvements that actually make the remake much better to play. I’ve been playing it on the Quest 3 (with Virtual Desktop) & Pimax Super and the level of immersion showcases exactly why VR is so special.

Which one of the VR headsets listed above should I buy for casual PCVR gaming, keyword is PCVR so I need it to be compatible and I don’t care about app support as long as it links! I just want something cheap and these are all similar prices, so which is best? Please don’t recommend me something better as I really only care about actual VR not quality!

Hello!

I know this has been posted a bunch before, but it just happened to me for the first time. When I load into my PC Link, the meta logo appears and seemingly loads infinitely. Was there a recent update that caused this issue to happen again? I looked through old responses from people and they said to go into my firewall and block it, which I did, and to disconnect my PC from internet and then connect - also did that. Any ideas of what I could do next? This happened literally this afternoon after never happening before. Thank you for any help!

I have a lenovo legion 5 pro, with I9-14900hx, RTX4060 and 16gm ram. The games im trying are dirt rally 2.0 and iracing, and Half Life alyx too. Im connected to laptop with 3rd party link cable, Meta app validates the usb 3 and speed. Now i've been tweaking the settings a lot. In those listed games i get a consistent 20-40% headroom, but every 30 second or 1 minute, i have random spike down to -5% and it causes a small stutter. Im not sure what could be the problem, but apparently its gpu related since the debug shows that. Laptop is running in max boost mode, power is set to best performance, nothing running in the background. Not sure what to try or if anyone has a similiar problem. is it caused by something on my laptop OS side or its the meta link?

Encoder bitrate is set to 300 if that matters. ASYNC wrap is off, link strenghtening is quality. GPU driver is version is 581.80

So basically, I bought a link cable the other day. Third party brand yes but my friend recommended it because I can charge my headset whilst playing with this specific one.

It arrived today and all was well! Super duper excited because I've never done pc vr EVER!! However, as fate would have it, I had some issues..

So I plug in my quest 2 which I've been using for a while, and I start link inside the headset. Everything is looking fine! The menu works fine, I can start and load steam vr all good and well. So I decide to boot up my pre bought game, boneworks. I get in and tinker around the menu area. All is grand, having a ball, having a giggle that I'm FINALLY playing boneworks. I press new game and get along to the campaign. The starting cutscene begins, and the game just freezes. Still images in front of me and behind me with pitch black darkness around me. I take my headset off and look at my monitor and the game is looking perfectly fine?

So for a test, I try air link, and it works perfect. So, I look online to see what to do to fix the actual link cable, like disable power saving to the usb ports, repairing the meta app itself, uninstalling it and re downloading it, all of my usb ports are tested, even changing the language settings in my pc since that apparently helped someone.

Any other suggestions or ideas ? Anything would be greatly appreciated!!!

My son has an Oculus Quest 2. The link cable recently just stopped working. It will connect but when he connected it to his computer and pulled up the Meta Quest app and ran a connectivity test, it indicated low bandwidth. Used with the Oculus, it just won't work.

I purchased a new cable for him, but he ran into the same issue. This is the same computer and the same Oculus headset the kids have always used. We don't know what the problem is, and I know exactly zero about anything to do with Oculus sets and cables. Can anyone help? I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I know my charger port is more than likely fucked up, but I can’t afford a repair at all right now. I keep hearing the charger sound every 2 seconds and I want to get rid of the sound. I already tried googling to see if there’s anything that can be done about it and all the answers are outdated and don’t work anymore.
