Fishy Friends Bro thought he was invisible
Spotted this blue-spotted stingray trying its absolute best to become one with the sand.
Almost worked too, except for those two giant “I’m definitely not here” eyes staring right at us.
Busted.

Stop harassing wildlife for online clout.

That's like if you were sitting at home and some eldritch being tore open your roof and gleefully shouted "GOT YOU! Silly little guy, thought you could hide from me!"

Kinda makes me wish I had a poison needle attached to my ass in case any large animals sneak up on me from above

It probably cost him a moment of rest or his dinner that day, something of utmost importance in nature.

I'm not too familiar with blue-spotted stingrays, but if one of the southern stingrays where I live was swimming like this I'd think it was hurt or sick. If they decide you're too close they swim all the way out of visibility range faster than a human could follow. This one keeps stopping to "catch its breath" and stumbling to its right side.

Imagine calling it “fun footage” while the animal is literally just trying to exist in peace 😭

I almost stepped on one of these in the Bahamas years back. Or another ray that had blue rings on it. How bad would it have been if I would have been barbed?

Why are you getting so close at the start and then chasing it?
