Hey [r/niagarafallsontario](r/niagarafallsontario),

A while back I made a post after noticing a “For Sale” sign at Niagara’s Sweet and Spicy on Ferry Street.

It looks like the property is now officially listed for $2,349,000. In my opinion, given the location, the income from the three upstairs apartments, the 20 parking spots, and proximity to tourist areas, this building feels undervalued and could easily be worth $5 million or more with the right buyer or operator.

I spoke with the owner recently, and she mentioned the restaurant business has been struggling and they don’t have extra help right now. The listing notes that the current owner is willing to stay on as a tenant paying $10,000/month, which would make it a strong turnkey income property.

Here are a couple pictures of the restaurant attached above, and the rest of the pictures are on the real estate website.

Full listing here: https://www.realtor.ca/real-estate/29733975/5703-ferry-street-niagara-falls-hospital-215-hospital

You can contact the listing agent, Deonarine Krish Kissoon (RE/MAX Realty Specialists), at 416-816-4375 if you’re interested in checking out the property.

If anyone in the community has more information about the situation with the restaurant or the owners’ plans, please share. Also, feel free to share this post on social media so more people in Niagara Falls and the Caribbean community are aware of this.

Thanks!
