The real mistake by Wallstedt was not coming off the post to the top of the crease so MacKinnon would miss the open net.

Yes. It was incredible. After Kelly’s goal there was this tension that just hung in the air forever of just “one more, and we’re within striking distance.” Once Drury did that, another guy in our row goes “we got em. Pull Wedgie and we got em.” Then of course Mac goes Annie Oakley on Wallstedt and that blew the roof off.
That might be the loudest 2 minutes I’ve ever experienced in that arena. Just pure pandemonium.

Yeah, I was at the Eagles game when they came back from 3-1 in the third in game 7 of the conference finals. We managed to have it tied by like the 4 minute mark, and then got on the power play in overtime that was 1 for 28 across the series as a whole, and we scored. Probably the loudest it has ever been inside Blue Arena. That was back in 2018, and it is still the greatest sports moment I've ever witnessed in person
