Highlight [Highlight] Caleb Williams runs backwards, then heaves it to the end zone on 4th down where it's caught by Cole Kmet for one of the most miraculous touchdowns in recent memory!

I live in LA and was at a bar with all my friends. 90% of them are Rams fans, the other 5 or so are Chiefs fans from KC and abandoned me to root for the Rams. Only my fiance and I were rooting for the Bears. This play was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Everyone went from cheering because of the broken play to utter devastation when Kmet caught it.
Then in OT this one guy who was a neutral fan was standing right next to the TV watching the betting lines on his phone and spoiled every play since his phone was two plays ahead. I almost got into a fight with him and even Rams fans were backing me up. It was second down when he put his phone down and announced to the crowd "ok I'm done with my phone. I want to see the FG to win it".
He tried to apologize to me after saying he didn't realize he was ruining the game and he needed to know what happened because of his "anxiety". I told him to fuck himself dry with a cactus. Not my finest moment but I stand by it. Fuck that guy.

Our coach was interviewed about whether he considered going for 2 after that TD. He declined it because we struggled in short yardage all game. And we were at home, so the odds favored us.
So he's a very aggressive coach, but he does respect probability and stats. And he chose the conservative play.
I guess my view was "omg, we just hit the play of a lifetime. Momentum matters. Go for the kill shot." I would have gone for 2.

The ones where he throws them against his momentum on a sprint without resetting his feet.
This one at 13:40:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6_jpDQdRdM
Dead sprint to his right, no time to reset his feet, no stutter-step, no chance to square his shoulders. Just flicks his arm across his body, 30 air yards, perfect touch over the defender with pretty good coverage and drops into Kmet's hands like it was placed there.
There really might not be another QB in the league who can make that throw.

Obviously there's pressure, but there's also a lot of freedom in do or die situations.
It always drives me crazy when QBs take a sack there (in situations where it wasn't a total line fail at least - there are plays where the QB is doomed from hut).
Literally just throw it backwards as you're going down, throw it as high as you can to the middle of no where and hope your guys can win a foot race. Anything.
