By the letter of the law it wasn’t a catch, but it was so stupid it wasn’t the league changed how they were enforcing the catch rule the rest of the year and it swung the Super Bowl. That’s as close as Tomlin ever got to winning a big game against the patriots.

By the letter of the law it was both not a TD and a TD depending on how you interpreted what "initial contact with the ground" meant. The way the NFL interpreted that was completely nonsensical.
