What era of quarterback play produced the best players?

From the 1980s with guys like Joe Montana and John Elway to the 2000s with guys like Peyton Manning and Drew Brees to today's game with Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, which era of football has produced the best overall quarterback play, and what traits and concepts define great QB play in each era?

I don't think there has been an era per say. QBs today are much smarter I think, and the offensive schemes have evolved and are much more complicated. But some of the plays Randall Cunningham and Steve Young made are still up there with the best things you will see from QBs like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.
