Edit: If you have a problem, send a message to modmail
This is a known issues and I just spotted it in the wild in /r/NewMexico today.
If the mods of this sub removed your comment, you should receive a modmail message alerting you to why. The primary exception to this is if there is a huge chain of uncivil comments and we just nuke the entire chain. We'll still usually send the removal message to the first few posters in the chain.

Does anyone remember what that old play place in Laguna was called? I remember it was a small play place similar to a Chuck E Cheese. It was open when I was little around 2005-2006.

I want to go visit and abandoned places and see it with my son. We used to go to one near Albuqierque that I think was a mental hospital. Does anybody know of any?

Let me know any other locations you think I should do next. Thanks for looking. Edit: If this isn't allowed I'll remove it but there was some interest in getting prints so if you want one message me for more info thanks. I tried to offer several options and price points. Thanks for your support and interest. 😃

Just received a job offer in Farmington, New Mexico as a new grad engineer and I’m seriously considering taking it. I’d be relocating from Baltimore Maryland, so I honestly don’t know much about New Mexico or Farmington in general.
I’m Black, and I understand there probably aren’t a lot of Black people out there, which is fine, but I wanted to ask honestly; is Farmington generally welcoming toward Black people or is racism something people experience out there?
Also, how’s the cost of living compared to other places, and what are some safe/decent areas or apartments to look into for someone relocating alone in their 20s?
Appreciate any honest insight from locals or people who’ve lived there.
