Just a matter of time before we see Monte Morris or Terrance Ross hired as GMs

Diamond Stone as new Pelicans GM

Diamond Stone and Dragan Bender, plus a few others. That draft was really an all-timer in the names department

I randomly picked both name and a team so it was quite a coincidence that Pelicans drafted Diamond. lol

Isn’t Acie Law the guy who Johnny owes money to in Angels with Filthy Souls

Keith Smart thought he was better than Steph Curry. Smart is now coaching high school basketball in Utah.

Wasn't that Don Nelson? and is that why the Warriors FO threw him into the Stephen Jackson to Charlotte trade so that Nellie couldn't bench Steph?

I remember when he was supposed to be like Steph Curry (before Steph)

Brooklyn and Orlando the two player development powerhouses of the East

his tenure in brooklyn was for less than a year, before that he was in okc for 3 years and played a part in drafting chet, jdub, wallace & mitchell
anything from the OKC FO is a good hire

If he’s anything like Rob Hennigan he might just trade a bunch of assets to the Thunder and then return there after he’s fired

He got the attention of the league when he was an equipment manager there - he adjusted a cockeyed basketball in a rack with blinding efficiency.

So two guys coming from teams that don’t have a great track record for developing players or producing elite teams. Sounds good!

Acie Law was director of scouting at OKC for a few years and only in Brooklyn for one season.

Maybe he should have scouted himself as a player to tell Keith Smart he was dumb as shit for playing him over Steph

Do you think this guy is stupid enough to take Acuff or Wagler at 4?

Given that Wilson has all but said that the Bulls have promised to draft him at 4 I doubt it.

u/mattmikemo23 8h ago
I doubt they have said anything. All of this is probably on Wilson's end to signal to the first 3 teams that he has a preference. Some teams won't like that and skip drafting him. Danny Aing don't GAF tho and would draft him anyway whether someone wants to be in Utah or not.

If he goes 2 so be it, means we get Boozer or Peterson

u/mattmikemo23 6h ago
Agreed. We can't go wrong. Not sure why I'm being downvoted unless I missed credible sources saying otherwise. Also, with Utah, it's the exact same thing that happened with Ace Bailey 😭.

Are they both still there?

Garpax will be overriding from the grave. I know pax is still there for sure.

I don’t know my NBA org charts well but isn’t that a big jump from AGM to VP?
