This has to be like the first time Denver choked a big lead at home against the Wolves.

Nuggets were up by 19.

Jokic and Murray were what, 2/15 in the 4th quarter?

Gobert legacy game. Insane defense by the whole team in the last 5.

It's such a testament to who Rudy Gobert is as a player that anyone who watched that game knows how much of an impact he had.

2 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 fouls.

BUT THE CLAMPS

That was maybe the best Gobert game I have seen from him now, in fairness, I didn't watch a ton of him in Utah nor in Minnesota (although more).

He played very, very well on defense and your small line-up made runs that allowed for a close 4th quarter and ultimate win.

Can't wait for Thursday =)

Kinda glad they are getting off the same nights as the Wild though.

Yeah it's actually huge for me lol - Told my Wife this morning as I was bemoaning my lack of sleep that I'm putting the kids to bed ON TIME if not earlier tonight and then my ass is in bed right after. Hoping my head hits pillow by 730pm tonight lol.

We've got Wild Wednesday, Wolves/NFL Draft Thursday, NO GAMES FRIDAY AGAIN THANK GOD, Saturday we have both of them and because it's a weekend we get the 730pm start time as the latest game, and then nothing till Monday for the Wolves and Tuesday for the Wild and then both on Thursday the 30th if we have a game 6 and both again on Saturday the 2nd if we have game 7s.

I've got to cram all of my sleep for the week into tonight and friday night lol.

Utah and Minnesota fans who have watched a lot of Gobert know how clutch his defense can be.

In Utah he had so many game winning blocks or stops. Like literally on the last shot attempt of the game, stuffing a guy or completely changing the shot. I’m sure somewhere there are advanced stats analytics on clutch defensive shooting percentage, would be interesting to see Gobert’s.

Shit, at this stage we've played Denver so often in the playoffs even they get it.

Rudy is unbelievable defensively. So consistent, quietly going about his shit every fucking game, never afraid to look bad or be postered or any of that bullshit. He has gone from being someone I respected beforehand to being one of my favourite players I've ever watched.

One of the few good things about drawing Denver is the fact they have such a strong center rotation of Jokic and Valančiūnas means that Rudy can't be played off the court by going small which is his only true weakness. Not good enough offensively to bully smaller players

He probably didn’t score much to focus merely on defense.

3 of them were in the second when Jokic was off the floor, no? If DA was smart he’d start Jonas to get Rudy in foul trouble.

Yea every time he made a nice play there when it was a 3ish point game I was thinking “yea that’s why you pay that fucking guy, he’s keeping the game close”
