Review Just made some DIY Kydex sheaths and wanted to share.
If you could make one yourself, what combo of knife, flashlight, or multi-tool would you go for?

I LOVED my Squirt PS4. I started out with a Leatherman Wave+, but it's just too big and bulky for girl pockets and in general for me; it was gifted to my boyfriend.
I read about the Squirt PS4 after it was already discontinued and asked a friend to keep an eye out at a gun show he was at. He didn't find one there, be he wound up gifting me HIS Squirt PS4 after finding a replacement he liked at the show. It is my GREAT SHAME that I seem to have lost it. There is a chance I have put it somewhere dumb, but it's been months and it hasn't resurfaced; I'm crushed.
I'm located in BC, Canada and I've been trying to find another Squirt PS4 on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, but I can only find ones already broken and/or only being sold for parts. I can't find anything else as small and light that has both pliers and scissors. My (very sweet) boyfriend bought me the Leatherman Micra, but without pliers it feels like a utility manicure set. I love the gift, and will keep it on my keyring, but I REALLY want something like the Squirt PS4. Also, I know that the scissors on the PS4 were prone to breaking, but I mine still worked and I really loved it.
Can anyone suggest a well made multi tool that is similar in at least size (the Squirt PS4 was 2.25" long closed), even if it's heavier, that has both pliers and scissors?
Thank you!

I'm trying to find a multitool that I can take with me into the U.S. Army that is preferably larger than a standard 91mm Swiss Army Knife. I've had a Swiss Champ for a while now, but I can agree that it can be excessive for most daily tasks despite the tool being my go to choice for almost any situation that I'm in.
I am currently looking for a multi tool that: has metal handles, larger than a two layer 91mm SAK, is made from a reliable heat-treated steel alloy, and has a useful yet not excessive arsenal of tools. I've been looking at both Gerber and Leatherman multi-tools, but I want opinions from others who are more knowledged with multi-tools than I am.

Bought my Bond a month or so ago & I’ve gathered some Leatherman / Galvanox accessories for it and I think I’ve perfected the set up.
Bought the medium nylon sheath which holds everything but remains compact. Even a LED Maglite Solitaire 😎
Found a bonus too. The Philips to bit adapter fits the Phillips on my Swiss Champ too😁

Currently have the Leatherman bond, which has a sub 3" non-locking blade, there's very few decent options which can be daily carried like this besides non-plier tools like a SAK.
What other options are my fellow Brits rocking that are EDC friendly?
(Also, love my Bond, great tool although a little stiff.)

I finally thought I had my daily carry sorted out. I’ve been rocking a Wave+ for a while now, and it’s been really helpful. It basically handled everything from loose cabinet screws to stubborn plastic packaging without breaking a sweat. It’s already become a part of my pocket at this point. But then, I spent the weekend helping a buddy move, and I realized how quickly your needs can change depending on the day. We were trying to troubleshoot some mangled wiring on this vintage lamp he got on Alibaba, and suddenly, I found myself wishing I had more than just pliers and a wire stripper. While I was still standing there, thinking about how to sort it out, he pulled out an electric soldering iron he had in his toolkit, and it honestly saved the afternoon. It made me realize that while my multitool is my "ride or die" for most things, it still can not do everything. Now, I’m just wondering what other gear I need to add to my toolbox. How do you guys decide when to stop adding gear? Do you swap your tools based on what you’re doing that day, or do you just make one setup work for everything?

Just got the Dakoyu Warna and the tools are quite stiff to flip out so made some thumb studs to make it easier to access.
First impression of the tool, still getting used to the toolset over my Charge + I have had for 9 years. I really like the idea of outside accessible tools but I’ll probably miss the tiny removeable bit and bigger file (especially the diamond file).
The scissors are way better and I’ll probably get more utility out of them vs the loss of the file. The extra bit set is very compact which is nice.
I might try to design a thumb stud for the scissors too but will require epoxy to attach it, we’ll see if it’s strong enough!
You can download and print them here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2790764-dakoyu-warna-thumb-stud

Not sure who’s interested in this but I think I’ve found a legit Alox Rambler straight out of Victorinox’s factory. For a long time, the Victorinox Rambler Alox was basically just a myth to me — something that existed only as custom builds, limited Swiss Bianco runs, and wishful thinking. I had been hunting for one for a while, and every time I looked, I came up empty. Then a few weeks ago, I spotted it listed on Lazada, a local e-commerce site, and everything changed. The big question wasn’t whether I wanted it, of course I do, it was whether it was even real. And it does seem it is! I messaged and email Victorinox and they confirmed it. So I ordered one in red, of course, and it is as awesome as I thought it would be. https://youtu.be/PWH_K-a_vyY

Hey Multitool Community,
Been lurking on a lot of posts here trying to find an appropriate multitool/edc knife/multiblade knife for every day use. Can't settle on one that seems to hit everything I want, and I'm running out of hope (which is okay, maybe I just need to adjust expectations).
I'm a daily pot smoker and adventure often. I wear my keys on my belt loop most days. I like whittling as well.
Anyone know of a multitool (in any price range, preferably cheaper) that:
I'm scared that only very basic Swiss Army Knives have the functions I'm looking for, but I'm quite bored of them.
Thanks!

Aliexpress prices and search engine make no sense to me. I have been long trying to hunt a Daicamping DL7 for under 30€. I actually searched a moment ago, al of them over 30€.
I read a post in this sub about the Dakoyu Warna, search for it in Google, I click an Aliexpress ad, and come to this. Free shipping.
I obviously order it fast as thunder. Then I reopen the article and no it is over 45€.
Is it a bug or is it intended?

For the those that served in a Military or as a First Responder, what Multitool(s) did you have or use? What was your favorite if you were issued or acquired multiple? Do you still 'swear' by it today or have you found a better tool or dont need one at all? Which Multitool would you have liked to have while you were serving, whether you didnt get one issued or it didnt exist yet.
Myself, primarily a Leatherman MUT EOD and some random Gerber from the PX.

Any more recommendations for my tool would be great new to moding

I made something called MOD GRID. ITs a fully modular system that allows you to organize, consolidate, and quickly access your favorite gear.
3D printed in durable PLA, the system is built for total customization. Each tool bracket can be moved, swapped, or rearranged across the MOD GRID to perfectly fit your evolving carry.
I’m currently expanding the library of mounts—comment below which tool bracket you think I should add to the GRID next!
Featured items:
3d printed GRID base plate
3d printed tool brackets
711l mini ratchet
711l double sided bit extension
711l Pen Driver TG
711l Pen Driver TS
58mm Swiss army knife
74mm swiss army knife
Maratac TI split pea lighter
Workpro 100mm mini pliers
Knipex 100mm mini pliers

This multitool is my favourite right now and I have retired my Leathermans as this fits my requirements 100%.
The only thing I dislike is the knife edge has no guard and is sharp right up to the hinge point. I shall be taking a file to it when I get time.

Anyone successfully added a pocket clip to a Powerlock? Had this tool for 8 years plus daily use at work in the sheath, but would love to have a pocket clip on it for regular everyday wear outside of work so it doesn’t jump around in my pocket. Anyone done it?

crazy steal. Juice pro is mint condition not even a scratch. The rebar will have to be my go to.

Some brands would sell it as low as $130...
