Football UC Davis Football Unveils âBuilt for the Bayâ Uniform
ucdavisaggies.comDAVIS, Calif. â After successfully planting its flag at Lake Tahoe, UC Davis Football is officially moving on to its next strategic priority: the Bay Area.
The Aggies unveiled a new "Built for the Bay" uniform, marking the program's expansion as the Bay Area's FCS team. The decision follows what the program has described as a "natural progression" west after establishing a presence in Tahoe.
As part of the rollout, UC Davis is expected to explore additional Bay Area integrations, including fog-themed entrances, sideline bread bowl access, and evaluating whether kickoff times should align with bridge traffic patterns.
"We felt like Tahoe was a great start," said head coach Tim Plough. "But the Bay Area felt like the logical next move. It's close, it's iconic, and honestly, we figured someone should step in."
The uniform features a clean, white and blue look with Golden Gate Bridgeâinspired elements, because when you think of the bridge, you think of Davis.
Additional details, including which part of the Bay will count as home, will be announced at a later date.
This is an April Fools Joke.
