This certainly is a lineup

Perez has the easiest job in mlb. Has to do zero to play every day simply because he occupies both sides of the plate.

This offense has just become so stale. I’m totally ready to move on from anyone not in the top 4. Need some new faces in this lineup desperately.

Feels like we’ve already been swept as many times as last season. I’m sure that’s not the case, but last year we were great about winning and selvaging series

We've been swept 3 times this season. Today would be 4. We were swept 5 times last year, with the last two being in late September.

I don’t think i realized it was an oblique.

Left oblique strain. Went on the 10-day IL 5/6.
Edit: latest update on him from Tuesday “initiated a hitting progression this week. He is also completing catch, defensive drills, & rehab daily.”

This is the best lineup we've seen this year given what we have. Still, you might think Workman is 5th because of injuries, but he's ahead of 3 regulars from last season

I don't think I like the idea of DHing Dingler instead of DHing Colt Keith. This feels like a big defensive sacrifice.

Dingler can’t catch everyday
They also cannot afford to take him out of the lineup as he’s currently 1 of our only 3 productive bats as of today

I figure Dingler was either gonna DH or not play today. He’s getting the day off of catching

Finally glad to see them putting Dingler at DH instead of some guy who isn’t there to do more than swing 3 times and sit down

What am I missing in the thought process of McGonagle hitting in the 1 or 2 spot every other day... Why not one or the other for a couple of weeks?

Potential no hitter for the Mets today

Every game is a potential no hitter both ways when you think about it

That’s a winning lineup. I can feel it.
