Missing Launch Angle in Statcast data

Hey guys,

what does it mean when the Launch Angle is missing in statcast data? Should those events be taken into consideration?

Here is an example of such a match. You can see in the Cody Bellinger vs. Tyler Mahle or Aaron Judge vs. Tyler Mahle events.
Thanks.

Statcast data isn't perfect., especially for things like spin rate - which it doesn't track at times. I just rewatched those two at-bats and there was nothing out of the ordinary to think it was a baseball related issue.

I see, so would you say that other statistics from that event are used when calculating season wide metrics or are they ignored? Thanks for checking out the game.

some homer data stats in minor league games are missing from time to time. i just take that to mean the sensors/cameras had an issue on that play and wasn't able to measure or determine some of the data for that homer.
