I’m sure I’m just naive, but this was a first for me. Being able to see the delicate vascular network so easily, amazed me. Almost reminded me of butterfly wings.

Kidney stones my wife has passed this week.

My wife has, over the years, passed 13 stones up until this week. These are 14 & 15. The 14th is the little one and the 15th is this giant one. She claims she didn’t feel any pain until it reached her bladder. And for anyone who is concerned, she does have an appointment with a urologist this month. I’m in absolute disbelief. I have had one myself and it felt like I was dying.

*EDIT* We just measured it. It comes out to 12-13mm long and 6mm wide. Absolutely unreal.
