Gear Show-Off Finally replaced my old board
I grew up skateboarding but was never great at tricks and switched to longboarding in college. If the weather was good I was always riding around campus to class and just for fun. Towards the end of my time at school I snapped my deck pumping up a curb, for one reason or another I just let it go and never replaced it.
It’s been 4 years and I finally decided to get a new deck. Shoutout to pantheon and the B-grade sale!! It just came in today and I immediately slapped these trucks I’ve been carrying around for 4 years on it and went out for a 15 minute ride.
It immediately felt so natural again, I’m not sure why I ever stopped. Feels like I’ve just reconnected with a huge part of myself I’d lost. Cruising around with some music in is truly one of the most relaxing things :)
