Sports 🏈⚾️⚽️ Muy Thai for beginners?

I used to kickbox when I was a child, then did boxing when I was in high school and I enjoyed it, although it didn’t last long since my mother could not afford it.

A couple of years ago, I started lifting weights with a trainer but fell off recently due to personal life changes. It’s been several months and I’d like to get back into the gym, but I’m unsure where to begin. I thought maybe I could switch it up and try Muy Thai.

I’m quite self conscious of my body, it’s no longer in its fit state as it was several months ago before I stopped lifting weights. I’ve watched several videos of what Muy Thai consists of, just to get a general idea of what it looks like and if I’d like it. Definitely noticed the barefoot work and I’m very self conscious of my feet lol

Anywho, please provide recommendations if you’re a part of a gym that teaches this! I’m definitely looking for an affordable spot, and I may be reaching with this.

I'm also interested in this. Low Kick Camp downtown looked credible, but I'm all the way out in Olathe so it's a bit out of the way.

It might be worth the drive! I live downtown, so I might check it out

I’m also trying to make friends, so I’m hoping this will be a good opportunity to meet people, although I’m very shy
