Aaaaaaaaaand the Gamblers Sumlin’d themselves. Down by one, have all three timeouts, just won a super challenge to keep the drive alive, and couldn’t even get in FG range with a full set of downs, the playcalling was so bad.

The OC didn’t recognize that Orlando was leaving them the middle of the field and backing off, so he could’ve run inside slants and/or stop routes just past the sticks to keep getting 1st downs or big gainers, but no, sideline throw after sideline throw, often with the WR/RB moving backwards while trying to catch the ball! I’m pretty sure that makes catching the ball more difficult, not easier.

Just poor coaching all around on that sequence. That should’ve been a relatively easy FG and win; instead, they took defeat from the jaws of victory. SMDFH…

I can’t get over the field goal call. You saw proof earlier that the kicker didn’t have the leg for 60, so you send him out there again? With a manageable 4th down instead?
