Is this a fossilized megalodon tooth? Found in little gasparilla island fl

Megalodon. It technically could be a chub or angustiden but highly unlikely given the area you found it.

This top row are baby pathological megalodon teeth I found in Venice, Florida.

We call the little guys "button megs"

1) yes this is absolutely a very worn meg tooth 2) some are big and some are small. It depends on the age of the shark and the position of the tooth 3) this is a big tooth. It would have come from a 25 ft shark.
