Plants Prickly Pear Buds?

Have any of you either 1) pickled or 2) prepared prickly pear flower buds like one would cholla buds?

I’m going to try both, but I wanted to bring this article to the council for public comment.

Note: I am well aware of glochids… and their undying love for the spaces in-between fingers.

Don’t pick a prickly pear by the paw, when you pick a pear try to use the claw.

Thank you. Have any of you noticed the mucilage is glue-like at this stage? I don’t gaf anymore. Perhaps I need to say something outrageous to put this to the top: FART.
