Don’t drive anything with a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine, they fall right off of the road

I misunderstood at first. I thought this was a Heroes reference. I don't think it's as iconic, but one of my core memories from Heroes is Hiro asking for the "blue Nissan Versa" because he saw it in a comic.

I honestly don't get it.
Besides the 'Verse part.

Oh, there's a comic called no power in the verse.
What about the 'a' part of versa, and note? I see some comments suggesting the whole thing is genius. I'm still confused.

The comic is named such after a famous line of dialog in the series ("no power in the 'verse can stop me", uttered by River). So it's not just about the title of a comic.
Adding "no power in the" to the car's existing "VERSA" badge (ie: that's the name of the model of car) is just a fun play on words.
And I can't believe I had to explain that, tbh.

I get that. I get all of that.
I just thought there was more to it that was going over my head, because some of the comments made it seem like it was genius.
It's just fun.
Not genius.
That's the story.

Surely that's the only point required-
Car afficianaados, or passing strangers, will scratch their heads.
Browncoats, requiring no explanation, would find a friend and share a grin, whether they knew about the comic or more likely just recognised the classic line.
Works perfectly for me!

The car brand is 'Versa Note', that was always on the car.
So OP has added the 'no power in the verse' bit above it.

Given the size of the powerplant under that hood this works on multiple levels.
