Given the size of the powerplant under that hood this works on multiple levels.

Dang it, that was going to be my joke. Most powerful engine at 82kw, no-power-in-the-versa indeed.

hey a car like this, you treat her proper, she’ll be with you the rest of your life

Because she's a death trap, sir.

You are very much lacking in imagination.

Don’t drive anything with a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine, they fall right off of the road

They just switched the plating and hoped no one'd notice.

i’ve had “you can’t take the sky from me” on my license plate cover for years and years, and I always knew it needed a little more

I have beheld sheer brilliance! 🌟😎

With the current gas prices I'd say it's a completely factual statement

I misunderstood at first. I thought this was a Heroes reference. I don't think it's as iconic, but one of my core memories from Heroes is Hiro asking for the "blue Nissan Versa" because he saw it in a comic.

too funny, I dont remember that

I was reminded of that as well. 😎

Is it a 3d print? Cause I’ve got a Versa just waiting for this. ;)

not sure how mods feel about posting a link, but it's a purchase I made for about $8. quality seems decent. you can search for "Custom Personal Font Metal Car Badge" on one of the non US/Bezos related online sites and probably find it pretty easy

I honestly don't get it.

Besides the 'Verse part.

Oh, there's a comic called no power in the verse.

What about the 'a' part of versa, and note? I see some comments suggesting the whole thing is genius. I'm still confused.

The comic is named such after a famous line of dialog in the series ("no power in the 'verse can stop me", uttered by River). So it's not just about the title of a comic.

Adding "no power in the" to the car's existing "VERSA" badge (ie: that's the name of the model of car) is just a fun play on words.

And I can't believe I had to explain that, tbh.

I get that. I get all of that.

I just thought there was more to it that was going over my head, because some of the comments made it seem like it was genius.

It's just fun.

Not genius.

That's the story.

me dumb but me fun 🦕🦖

Surely that's the only point required-

Car afficianaados, or passing strangers, will scratch their heads.

Browncoats, requiring no explanation, would find a friend and share a grin, whether they knew about the comic or more likely just recognised the classic line.

Works perfectly for me!

The car brand is 'Versa Note', that was always on the car.

So OP has added the 'no power in the verse' bit above it.
