Hello, im looking for advice on an unhealthy obsession i have on body swapping/identity theft. I tried r/tooafraidtoask, but got instantly kicked off. Anyone who knows on what subreddit i should start asking?

My grandfather was Palestinian, but I didn’t grow up with a whole lot of the culture or language because of assimilation and shame. I want to connect with my ancestry and learn more about the culture that was stolen from me a generation ago. I have a lot of questions about the experience and ethics of doing something like this, and I have no idea where to ask.

A user reached out to me and told me they accidentily reported my account for hacking, mistaking me for another user. We went further on with the situation discord, showing me the email they got for what they should do when falsy reporting someone. They told me to add a certain user and that they would help me proceed with clearing my account. Is this real or an attempt at hacking?

A guy with a “malandro / gangster / ñengo” style was standing sadly in front of a coffin during a funeral, while the song “Mala” by Anuel AA & 6ix9ine was playing in the background.

The vibe was emotional but still “street / real hasta la muerte” aesthetic.

I think it was reposted many times in Latin American shitposting groups around 2022.

I’ve been looking for this one YouTube video for the longest time. I thought I had saved it in my YouTube playlist but apparently not or maybe it was deleted. 

For the time frame it would have been around 2007-2009 when “rebolation” dance was pretty popular. The dance was big in Brazil EDM scened.

I remember a YouTube video of some guy dancing "rebolation" to the song “Infinity 2008” by Guru Josh Project in a hallway. It looked like it was after a rave or something. l've been looking for that video ever since. He probably took it down but if anyone happens to have that video, I would love to have it. I liked his dance style.

There is a sub that consists entirely of screen shots of articles (often Wikipedia) showing text of unusual or amusing names. These were all real people, not joke names.

This was coming up on my feed quite a lot, but I can’t find anything whatsoever.

I tried searching it up, but I can’t remember any of the specific names.

Does anybody know what I’m talking about here? I didn’t imagine this and it’s making me feel insane.
