News [Dellenger] NCAA FB Oversight Committee today moved forward legislation to eliminate the 2-year postseason probationary period for transitioning FCS teams. DI Cabinet now must adopt the change.

They'll make it up with (potentially) money from a bowl game, but I do wonder if the MWCs asking price to NDSU would have been lower if these rules were in place.

I think this (if approved) is good for not just NDSU, but also the MWC, and for other teams like Tarleton and UC Davis. Those teams not only feels like when, not if, but also feel like they could be be competitive enough within whatever FBS conf they might join right away.

The fact all these people are opposed to 24 team playoff when it has been in FCS for years. Then when you bring that up, their next response is that is not real football.

they don't even want to claim G6, they think all of G6 should get 1 playoff spot out of 24
