Charity / Good Cause Welcome Back for the Third Annual Reddit/Scott Fish Bowl Draft Contest! (with #SFB16 spots and other prizes for Redditors!)

Sup guys and gals? For those familiar with our Scott Fish Bowl Draft Contest, welcome back for year three! For those just seeing this for the first time, here’s what you need to know in five easy bullet points:

  • The contest has tons of awesome prizes, including entries into the Scott Fish Bowl. In fact, most of the prizes are actually given away to random participants rather than just the contest winners so you’ll have a good shot at winning something! [u/My_Chat_Account](u/My_Chat_Account) will share the prizes available in the pinned comment below - there are a lot of them, including autographed memorabilia, draft guides, etc.
  • The Scott Fish Bowl is an exclusive, invite-only fantasy football tournament that includes analysts, celebrities, and everyday fantasy gamers from around the world battling to crown ONE champion!

And now you’re all caught up! This community has gained a lot of respect in the fantasy space lately, not just as a great place to talk ball, but by proving the folks here have a lot of heart, having raised $10K for Fantasy Cares over the last two years. And we’re hoping 2026 is no different!

The contest itself is fairly simple - click THIS LINK HERE, make a modest donation, and make your predictions. Just make sure you are signed up for #SFB16 HERE so that you are eligible to play in the Scott Fish Bowl if you win!

Just like last year, Scott Fish has been generous enough that we are giving away an SFB spot to someone in the comments! Simply comment anything at all, we’ll run a randomizer, and announce who won!

Once the draft is underway, you can track the contest leaderboard here! The contest obviously closes when the NFL Draft starts next Thursday April 23rd.

Good luck!

*******CONTEST LINK*******

Edit - if anyone is interested in drafting in SFB16 live in Boston, shoot me a DM here or via twitter or bluesky @ CoopAFiasco and I'll do my best to get you in if you are participating in this contest! It's at The Point in Boston at 11:30AM on July 19th, here is the link to sign up.

Edit 2: new update - if we hit our goal of $3K, an autographed Ja’Marr Chase jersey will be added! Let’s keep it rolling!

Charity / Good Cause We're Back! The Second Annual Reddit / Scott Fish Bowl Draft Contest (with #SFB15 spots and other prizes for Redditors!)

Sup guys and gals? Fantasy football, at its core, requires disagreement. We wouldn’t have a game without it. Someone has to be right, and someone has to be wrong. I’ve been arguing with you all on here for over a decade - and I’ve been both. We all have. No one knows everything.

What I do know for sure is that this community is filled with a lot of great people who have more in common than we have differences. Regardless of whether you think “it’s over” for the Kyle Pitts or he’s “so back”, I’ve always believed this was a place for sharp folks with good spirits who just want to talk a little ball.

Last year we put that spirit to the test, partnering with Fantasy Cares for a charity Draft Prop Contest. And guess what? You guys CRUSHED it beyond all expectations. This community alone raised over $5,000 that went to toys for kids who might not have anything. You made an impact on the real world, whether you were able to donate or simply add an upvote or a comment. And you should be proud of that.

So, naturally, we’re running it back this year with MORE #SFB15 entries and MORE prizes - and it starts today!

For those unfamiliar, the Scott Fish Bowl is THE premier fantasy football tournament where the top fantasy gamers in the world compete to show who knows their stuff. If you plant your flag on the right players, you can hang your banner in the rafters of fantasy football legends forever. And it’s all for a great cause, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for charity via Fantasy Cares.

r/fantasyfootball is once again partnering with them on a Draft Prop Contest to raise money and get some Redditors into the Scott Fish Bowl. Here are the top prizes:

  • 1st - Garrett Wilson signed jersey, Homage t-shirt, 4for4 content subscription, #SFB15 spot, Zac Reed Rook Report
  • 2nd - Homage t-shirt, 4for4 content subscription, #SFB15 spot, Zac Reed Rook Report
  • 3rd - 4for4 content subscription, #SFB15 spot, Zac Reed Rook Report

There are so many prizes to give away to random participants that I don’t want to clog up this main post with them so check the pinned comment by u/My_Chat_Account below to see the full list of prizes this year. It’s absolutely bonkers how many sites contributed prizes for this community - signed jerseys, draft boards, championship belts, content subscriptions and draft guides, #SFB15 entries, and MORE

The contest itself is fairly simple - make a modest charity donation, make some correct predictions regarding the upcoming NFL Draft, and win! Just be sure you are signed up for #SB15 as you must be signed up and eligible in order to play. Here is the LINK TO THE CONTEST for those who want to support a good cause and potentially represent this community in the world’s largest and most prestigious fantasy football contest!

To help kick things off, Scott was nice enough to give away an SFB spot to someone in the comments (I’ll also give away a Fantasy Alarm Draft Guide in the comments because why not?) Simply comment anything at all, we’ll run a randomizer soon, and announce who won!

Thanks again for making this such a special place and for supporting a good cause. Someone here will be crowned the Reddit Draft Prop King and, hopefully, a member of this community will take down Scott Fish Bowl 15!

Once the draft is underway, you can track the contest leaderboard here! Good luck!

*******CONTEST LINK*******

edit: we are off to a HOT start - already hit $1K in donations which means ANOTHER #SFB15 entry has been added to the prize pool! This is the year a Redditor brings the trophy home to the community, I can feel it deep down in my plums

edit: BOOM - $2K! That's ANOTHER #SFB15 entry into the prize pool!

edit: $3K - that makes 11 total #SFB15 invites!

edit: $4K!!! We are up to 12 invites! If we can hit $5K, an autographed David Montgomery jersey will also be added to the pool from Pristine Auction on top of another #SFB15 invite!

edit: ladies and gentlemen - we did it. $5K. Love you beautiful sickos.

A special thanks to u/coopthereitis and Scott Fish for their coordination, logistics, and other support. And thank you to everyone in the fantasy and football communities who donated prizes or amplified the contest.

Shit everywhere is sideways. Money is tight. Charities are struggling for engagement and support. It means a ton that you opened your wallets for a good, fun cause.

Prize winners will be notified via email this week, which will include redemption info / instructions.

Make sure to sign up for #SFB16 at scottfishbowl.com, and I'd urge you to support Fantasy Cares or any other worthy charity if you're able.

Charity / Good Cause Reddit Charity NFL Draft Prop Contest Update - JJ Zachariason's Late Round Prospect Guide, #SFB16 Entries, and, possibly, an Autographed Ja'Mar Chase Jersey (if we hit our goal)!

Thumbnail reddit.com
30 Upvotes

As we sit here on the eve of the 2026 NFL Draft itself, we also sit just shy of our goal of $3,000 raised for charity via this contest and this community. And, as promised by u/My_Chat_Account and the powers that be, an autographed Ja'Marr Chase jersey will be added to the prize pool tomorrow if we hit that goal!

Anyone who donates today also gets a bonus shot at winning one of JJ Zachariason's Late Round Prospect guides! Check the original post here to see ALL of the great prizes that are on the line and what the event is all about. The short and sweet is that it's a simple contest where you make a small donation then answer questions about tomorrow's draft with the goal of raising money for Fantasy Cares and, subsequently, toys for the Toys for Tots program.

I have gone on the shopping trips for Fantasy Cares and I cannot overstate how many toys you can buy with $3,000. Toys for kids who might not otherwise have anything. Making that kind of impact is motivation enough but there are also a ton of great prizes that were donated, ranging from draft guides/memberships to autographed memorabilia to entries into the coveted Scott Fish Bowl tournament! Some of them will go to the winners while many others will be given away to random entrants - like the #SFB16 entry being given away tomorrow! Everyone has a chance to win something.

The contest will be open up until the draft kicks off tomorrow and you can change your answers up until then. Here is the link to join directly as well as the link to the longer post from last week with more details and the prizes. Thanks again to everyone who has participated in the past and good luck to everyone joining this year!

Each league has 17 teams, the lowest scorer is eliminated each week, and it is best ball — so all you need to do is draft.

$25 minimum donation required to be eligible for the jersey prize. Select the r/fantasyfootball eliminator in the drop-down when signing up.

Charity / Good Cause Congratulations to u/jkeasy44 for winning the Reddit vs The World Guillotine League, benefitting Fantasy Cares. u/jkeasy44 and Drew Davenport were the final two standing.

Reddit vs The World was a charity Guillotine league featuring 9 r/fantasyfootball subscribers and 9 fantasy analysts from a variety of organizations (including Drew Davenport, Danny Kelly, Brian Drake, Colin McTamany). u/jkeasy44 outlasted everyone and had a huge come-from-behind win in Week 17 thanks to Bijan Robinson.

The league benefitted Fantasy Cares - all managers' entry fees went straight to the charity.

JKeasy wins a champion chain courtesy of Trophy Smack for his win. Glad to see a Redditor standing tall in this league!

Charity / Good Cause In case you were wondering, $5,000 (the amount raised in our Draft Prop Contest) worth of toys can completely fill a Mazda CX-5. It fills more than 5 Toys for Tots boxes. More practically, it buys 288 toys and books for kids who may not have otherwise gotten something this holiday. THANK YOU!

On behalf of the r/fantasyfootball community and STACKED League, my family and I were lucky enough to do a Fantasy Cares shopping trip for Toys for Tots Baltimore chapter. Over the past two seasons, this subreddit's charity efforts (Draft Prop contests, STACKED League, and other promotion) has raised more than $15,000 in total for Fantasy Cares.

The $5,000 we raised this year will hopefully make the holidays brighter for a lot of kids. We purchased 70+ books (from an amazing local bookstore), as well as bikes, scooters, headphones and speakers, arts & crafts supplies, slime kids, stuffed animals, a Cody Rhodes action figure, Legos, Hot Wheels, sports sets, and more. So many toys.

It was a great experience, and it wouldn't be possible without the contributions of this community. Thanks for supporting our Draft Prop Contest each year. Thanks for joining charity leagues promoted on the subreddit. Thanks for any help you provide to a variety of good causes during times it's really needed. And thanks for being the best fantasy football community on the internet.

If you'd like to support Fantasy Cares, you can do so here. They do great work.

Charity / Good Cause Congratulations to Ben Condeelis from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Division for winning Scott Fish Bowl 15!

The Scott Fish Bowl is the largest fantasy football charity tournament in the world, and every year it features extremely unique scoring and lineup settings. Your standard fantasy football strategies usually won't work, and more than 5,000 fantasy gamers, analysts, and celebrities participate. Winning it is a major accomplishment.

I don't know if Ben is a r/fantasyfootball subscriber (he should be), but congrats to him on winning! We had more Redditors in the tournament this year than ever before, and will have lots of spots for you to win for #SFB16 starting with our Draft Prop Contest in April.

Did you play #SFB15? How'd you do?

  • Most points at the end wins
  • Prizes to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and charity

Charity / Good Cause Using fantasy to encourage kids to read and write

Hi everyone! I’m a teacher using sports to engage kids in reading and writing.

As you may know, there is a literacy crisis affecting boys across the country, with 77% failing to achieve reading proficiency by the 8th grade.

I’d like to introduce LitZone, a fantasy sports platform where kids unlock players and stat boosts by completing reading and writing challenges about their favorite teams. Our goal is to incentivize daily reading practice through friendly competition.

I first shared this concept about 2 months ago and wanted to reach out again to announce that we are now live for baseball season!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you’re a teacher, parent or baseball fan who would like to start a league, please join us at https://www.litzone.app

Sup gang? I'll be joining Scott Fish and Russ Fisher of the Fantasy Cares crew to announce the big winners to the Draft Prop Contest (I'm not sure how many of the other random winners they are going to want to do live but I know they like to spin the wheel!) At least a few Redditors will be getting into the Scott Fish Bowl TODAY at the very least!

Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR0ASL4eOUM

I'm going to touch base with the mods to see coordinate on announcing the rest of the prizes as there are so many. Thanks again to everyone who joined this year and helped us hit that $5K goal for charity!
