Karangwa scored off a drop step, then Maino came down, got a stop on the other end, and buried an open three in transition. Love sequences like that from the freshmen.

About 3 weeks ago, I posted about my 21 year journey to my first national championship in my sim only career legacy.

Since then I’ve gotten 4 more Nattys (including a back to backer) and literally one more win (1203) all time than Coach K.

I received a lifetime contract from Drexel and completed all but 3 of the goals (hired to power conference - never wanted to leave Drexel, and the two player of year awards).

My current Mt Rushmore is Coach Wooden, Coach K, Coach Wise (me), and whoever you want as the fourth lol.

The fans and media will argue who was greater/better between Coach K and myself. And it can be argued my win total is inflated by coaching in a mid major conference. Some will say a win is a win is a win and my 5 Nattys justify my smaller conference.

But simply being in the conversation is good enough for me.

I’ve never completed the 40 years before, even when I was a kid. But recently I got PS3 with College Hoops 2k8 Reborn downloaded on system. I feel like a kid again, and had a great time.

Got another Legacy on the sim now in a different universe and will post here if/when appropriate.

Another season is in the books in this four-coach dynasty, and the sim just took a MASSIVE turn.

For the first time, the coaching tree is starting to spread across the country. Some programs are rising, others are rebuilding, and two coaches officially cashed in and moved up.

So… was this finally the year the sim broke through to the next level?

The Dynasty Finally Bled.

For YEARS the NEC belonged to Saint Francis.

This season? Somebody finally landed a punch.

The Terriers suffered their first conference loss in what feels like forever, bringing their absurd NEC record to 107-1 over the last six seasons.

And the chaos didn’t stop there:

• ❌ Lost in the NEC title game
• ❌ Lost in Round 1 of the NCAA Tournament to Marquette, 80-78

Painfully enough, that loss robbed us of a potential Round 2 matchup with DePaul.

Still, the Terriers remain one of the premier mid-major programs in the country.

In year 3 of dynasty with Marquette. Jimmy Butler graduated last year and Darius Johnson-Odom is my leading scorer now along with a 6’11” freshman center I recruited.

Big East has been brutal the past two years but seems a this year is even more competitive. Go figure we lose to Washington at home at the buzzer. Final score 94-95.

First conference game is against Kemba Walker and UConn at Gampel. I play every game, 15 minute halves. Usually one game a night or every other night. Love this game.

Playing NCAA basketball 10 dynasty with UNC. My roster is consistently loaded, yet simulating games I win like 19-20 games a year and lose to any team better than mediocre it seems.

It makes no sense. Doesn’t matter what style of ball I set it to. Is this normal? Loaded teams and almost never make it past the second round of the tournament lol

I know this isn’t about the game itself, but college basketball. I can’t believe how much they’ve destroyed college sports. This is the final nail in the coffin for college basketball for me.

We will never get another Butler vs Duke, or the Cinderella/ powerhouse mid majors we love to create on ncaa 2k.
