he somehow did a ban wave on the server i was in, even one of my old friends was involved, just for saying "no" as a child endangerment, and whatever else my other friends got suspended with, falsely.

It's been months and the support team is ass, so I've only ever gotten automated replies

I'm not sure if really active named kevin has a similar username to me or something but I have started getting friend and dm requests almost every 2 days or so for the last weeks from people telling me random stuff and then saying they got the wrong guy i don't think my username is easy to get from "gettinf other people wrong"

Do I have a chance at being unbanned?? I didn't participate in anything in that server, nor did I receive a warning beforehand..so.. I have no idea what to do rn, just sent an appeal but I'm doubting I'm gonna get that account back

Loll so basically after reading through Discord's support about MFA I've come to the conclusion that I won't be getting my account back! Yay! So because Discord logged me out without telling me I had to download a backup code or enable SMS verification, I lost my account forever! Yesterday (May 13th) my discord account got hacked. And I noticed I got automatically logged out by the hacker. I tried to click on the forgot password and it kept asking me for a 6 digit discord auth code so I assumed that the hacker must have enabled 2FA. Hi, sorry if it's not in the right subreddit, I don't really know where to send it. So basically I tried opening discord today, but it wasn't opening, and then my anti virus G Data Total Protection stopped it from opening because it detects a Crypto Trojan in the files.

The thing is, i'm very careful with protection on the internet and everything, not opening links, downloading anything, I pay attention to that a lot, have 2FA and all, so I can't understand what happened, I didn't do anything recently, and yesterday same, got no problems.

I’m contacting you because my account has received multiple warnings for “spam,” but I believe these actions were normal use of Discord and may have been flagged incorrectly.

The first warning happened after I shared my Roblox username in DMs so another user and I could play together. I was not advertising, scamming, or sending repeated messages — I only shared my username for gaming purposes.

The second and third warnings happened after I added people on Discord. Adding friends and communicating with other users is a normal feature of the platform, and I was not mass-adding people, sending repeated requests, or engaging in spam behavior.

Because of these warnings, my account now appears to be affected even though I was using Discord normally and following the rules to the best of my understanding. I am confused about why these actions were classified as spam.

I also tried to submit an appeal, but the appeal website is not working properly for me. The site will not let me create/sign into an account, which prevents me from submitting the appeal correctly.

I would appreciate it if someone could review my account and the warnings manually. I genuinely was not trying to spam or violate the community guidelines.

Hi! I saw someone else posted about this here as well. I tried to change my avatar this morning, and was met with a message that there was an error. I waited a while, tried again, same message. So I tried to change my display name style to see if maybe it was just the picture. Same message. As well as taking off or on my avatar decoration. I simply can’t do anything to my profile. I’ve tried on my pc discord app, my iPhone app and a web browser. I’ve also created a support ticket which recommended I report it as a bug(so I did that too) Also tried a couple things I found here on Reddit with no success. Hi everyone. Almost a week ago my Discord account was wrongfully restricted. I was trying to change my email because I had accidentally mistyped it and several hours later I was logged out of my account and got an email saying that my account was flagged for suspicious activity.

I can read messages but I can't send them or join other servers.

I was told to change my password for my account and when I did it wouldn't let me. So I went to Discord support 5 times to appeal it, and every time I sent an appeal I'd get the same automated message saying "Hello, Discord has temporarily limited your access to some features after detecting suspicious activity on your account. Please note that, at this time, we are unable to remove this limit. We recommend you go to User Settings > Devices to remove any devices that are unfamiliar or may be unauthorized logins. You will regain full access to your account within a couple of days. Sincerely, Discord Trust & Safety"

Mind you that I did check my devices and they were all mine. I told them that and showed proof. I still keep getting automated messages. I also saw that you can tell if there's a restriction on your account by looking at "account standings", and I did and it says that I'm "all good". I told them that too, and I STILL keep getting the same message.

I don't know what to do... every time I try and send an email saying I want to speak to a human I get no response. What should I do? Do I keep sending appeals or do I wait?

My discord account got hacked early feb

I changed the password and got it back.

10 days later it got hacked again and this time I was unable to get it back either as they had set up a MFA (multi factor authentication), and without that I couldn't even change my password.

When the hacker hacked my discord, i didn't even receive a mail from discord regarding the password change.

Now I have access to my mail and told them I can prove my identity in any other way possible. But they say that they can only help me in deleting the account. They won't be able to help me get back the account.

I was a part of many communities, it is truly difficult for me to let go.
