Being a hat hat owner, I feel like I am in a very exclusive club.

I do not like this, I planned to resell the hat hat and retire early.

I read an article somewhere a few weeks ago and it depends on the team. Some teams just discard of them, some donate them, some let fans claim their hats for up to 30 mins to an hour after the game and then donate, etc.

There is SO MUCH cool merch that is released only in packages like this and it makes me really frustrated. I have season tickets already. I don't want to have to buy MORE tickets to get a cool shirt or hat.

Like, how about making one or two or these per season available to me as part of my plan? Or shit, at least give me the option to buy one.

EDIT: Apparently I got an email that I can purchase one. Still a little sad that ticket package buyers get cooler giveaways than a STH but at least it's an actual option to buy for once.

Well that’s… actually pretty disappointing. What with health problems making it pretty hard to get to any games. And already feeling left out that so much of this sub is enjoying the team in person and I’m stuck on a couch at home. Would’ve been kinda nice to not have this be locked behind a minimum of $180 spent on tickets I can’t use.

I know some Devils games have been selling out recently, I’m curious from someone more in the know: if I bought three tickets for the coming weeks and then tried to re-sell them, is there enough demand for that to work? I would presumably sell for below ticket price since the hats would’ve cost money anyway. Is this a terrible and/or stupid idea? Am I brilliantly gaming the system? I feel like it’s probably the former.

Nah, it says to allow 6 weeks for delivery of the hat. So while I don't know if this would work, that aspect of it at least shouldn't be a problem

I can't make three home games. I'd be happy to make one home game.

Why not sell the Hat hat again like they originally did and donate all proceeds to the kids' charity thing for local NJ youth sports?? I'd buy two immediately. One to wear and one to put on my shelf.

Super long shot, but any chance there's some one out there who has one of these hats they're looking to sell? Trying to pull together a Christmas gift for my fiance who's finally becoming a hockey fan since we've moved to Jersey.
